Fast hardcore/powerviolence type stuff... short songs, heaps of mad slidey riffs and plenty o' speeeed. Their demo doesn't quite do them justice, but they really kicked arse when I saw them last time they were here.
Apparently they're breaking up in April or so due to band members moving to different areas and shit like that so this could be the last chance for Melbournians to see them!

How was the gig ?

Excellent! Miso Maniax were cool, FCR were nothing too exciting but had their moments, Mass Trauma were great - fast, tight, chaotic and they did an awesome cover of Straightjacket's "Get Wrecked" that I reckon topped SJ's version! SJ were in good form and Pisschrist kicked arse as usual...good turnout too... We left after that, but when I saw Draft Dodger the next day it didn't make me regret that decision heheheh Mass Trauma were cool at the instore though... I'm always impressed when bands can deliver the goods at 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon when I'm still half asleep heheheh

Miso Maniax were really good...little hints of scholastic deth in an otherwise old-schoolish punky hardcore type sound...

Mass Trauma - fookin aye...so good to hear them on a good PA...really fuggin good...

missed out on Pisschrist and Draft Dodger as i had to work at midnight till 5am...geigh

some mad crowd antics as well which are always fun...there were a few "HOLY FUCXKIN SHIT THAT GUY MUST HAVE BROKEN HIS NECK" type moments, but alas, all was good...
