Were recording Feb. 9th (this friday !!) at Legion Studios with Matt Sotelo (Decrepit Birth) engineering. It will be our first full length and we hope to record anywhere from 9-12 new songs. We also have a show with Dragonlord coming up Mar. 17th in Sacramento @ ON THE Y

We will also be touring Mexico with Rottensound in May 2007!

The recording went very well! Ten songs were recorded, all sounding brutal yet unique. Every song sounds different in its own special way, and even though I have listened to it many many times, and play the songs constantly at practice and shows, I still want to destroy shit every time I hear the recording! It has a very "live" sound, isn't over-produced, and is very fast.
The mixdown is nearly complete, and should be going into Colin Davis' studio for the final mastering very soon!!
After that, we are going to patiently search for a good record label that is willing to give us a fair contract. Preferrably U.S. based this time-our current label is from Spain and it is too difficult to communicate, and it takes forever for us to get our Cds and shirts.
Anybody who enjoyed the 5 song EP is going to love the new full length! It is much faster and not as overproduced, as I said before. Plus, we re-recorded one of the songs from the old album, and it sounds much, much better!
When it is all mastered, we will have like 2 songs up on our Myspace page for everyone to hear.

Thanks dude! The album should be available soon!! It is being mastered as we speak, and Tony Koehl is working on some new artwork for us...he is much better than Jon Zig. After that, we just have to wait for our label to do the layout and get the pressing to us. Hopefully it will all be done sometime this summer!!
There will be some songs up on our profile on Myspace for your listening pleasure as soon as the mastering is done.

We re-recorded song 3 from the Beheaded by Volition EP. It sounds much better now. We are going to change the name so we don't get raided by the Secret Service. Advocation of assassination is a capital crime, and we don't like prison, haha

Where did you hear the new stuff from? As far as I know only a few people have access to it, and we are still waiting for the mastering to be done. Are you sure what you heard was the new stuff? Maybe it was the old CD. We haven't put up any new songs on our page yet, it hasn't been mastered yet. Soon, though.
Also, we are having Tony Koehl do new artwork because we weren't happy with the artwork you see above. Tony is amazing. Check out his work at www.myspace.com/tonykoehl.
Thanks guys, good to hear that people are getting excited about the upcoming album! We're trying real hard to get this thing released soon...but be patient...it takes a while to put out something top quality. We want the layout, mastering, art, photos, everything to be perfect. It can take some time. But it will be worth the wait, I promise!!

cool! can't recall the song at the moment but I'll dig out the mcd and check it out. I'm really looking forward to that new stuff. the mcd was VERY promising and refreshing. and yeah, take your time. perfectionism is something I totally miss in a lot cds these days.

oh and I can see the picure above now. it didn't work before. the cover is okay. i bit cheesy though. zig is a good artist but his art isn't that fine. tony koehl definetly is the person to go with. the abysmal torment art (for example) was sick as fuck!

Yes, cheesy. Exactly what we thought. Tony is the man. One of my personal favorites. I liked the Internal Suffering art a lot. Cumbeast was fucking insane...simple, but brutal and sick in its simplicity, if you know what I mean. We aren't going for a gore theme, we don't want to be lumped into the "just another gore band" stereotype. Tony's piece will be along the lines of the Zig theme, but much more elaborate, and much sicker. He takes a different approach to his work.
Yes, we want the album to be just right...but that's not to say it will be overproduced. The music has a more "live" feel to it, like the band is right there in the room with you...I personally like it. The music kind of moves and breathes, I don't know if that makes any sense, but that's what comes to mind when I hear it. As a drummer, there are always things I would like to have done better, but overall it came out really good. You'll see what I mean. There will be a couple of tracks on Myspace after the mastering is done...that's all we're waiting on right now. Colin is recording another band right now, and then he should have a spare moment to do the mastering for us after that. Can't fucking wait!!! Colin is the man.
