Real simple. You have a label, you love records, you love cd's,hmmmmm!!
I really would like to bring out a few 7" and 12", who wouldnt. But fuck me if it aint expensive. Been looking for the last 2 weeks to get some 7"s pressed ( well prices anyway ) and it seems like to much for to little. And i dont mean getting money back, i couldnt give a fuck , i just dont want to waste it on something people dont want. Why release records when i can press cd's at my mate studio??
Please dicuss, i need to know what people think!!

from purely a collectors point of view, the more people putting out vinyl the better.

BUT it does seem like interest for has gone down HEAPS in the last few years. Most people don't seem to buy CDs or Vinyl at all anymore and just download all their music and buy a shirt to show that they're 'really' into it. :emot-roll

Vinyl costs so fucking much to press, and costs a fraction of the price of a CD to buy?, so I guess its not the most practical method anymore... Maybe there will be a resurgance of it, who knows. I guess it also depends on what you're planning to release?

How about a healthy mix of 7" and a webstore ( MP3 ) type thing. Keep everyone happy??

personally although I'm a technology junkie i'm not one for buying music off a mp3 store like itunes or whatever, if I'm going to be spending money on an album i want something to show for it, and i don't want to be restricted with a specific media player that i have to play it on (eg itunes/wmp11)

vinyl is cool but costly to produce as rebecca said, ALSO this is just me but i prefer my gore releases on CD and my core on vinyl, but thats just me :D
