Canberra show was cool , the crowd could of been bigger but those there seemed to enjoy it .A late start & sunday night probably didn't help crowd numbers either as Canberrans are fussy bastards.

I missed Hardluck unfortunately but arrived in time to see 4dead and it was good to hear them through a good pa .

ABC Weapons never disappoint and I thought Pack were great they had IMO a bit of a Bolthrower, Genocide Superstars/ Los Diablos thing going on but were a bit faster.

Is that warehouse the same one where Damage Digital played with all those improv/stoner/jazz bands?

No it's further up Lygon St (away from the city) than that. Next to Video Ezy/opposite the East Brunswick Club.

Straightjacket were probably the best i've ver seen them! tight, angry and a little heavier than usual. killer!
Pisschrist were heaps of fun, one of their best recently too.
I thought Pack were awesome when they hit their stride, usually in the more mid tempo chugging bits. there were some killer riffs! Their slow stuff was great too, but the songs all seemed a lot too long with too much repetitive d-beat filler. I still really enjoyed them, but with a bit of trimming of their songs they could really be great. the singer was excellent though and they had a really heavy sound.

it was a cool show, but it got pretty smelly in there by the end of the gig haha

^ Pretty much agree with all that... SJ kicked arse, definitely the best I've seen them for ages, if not the best ever! Pisschrist were great as usual, crowd was going pretty nuts... and I was also pleasantly surprised with Miso Maniax... some nice hardcore, cool riffs, cool vocals, definitely look forward to seeing them again. Pack weren't really my thing a lot of the time, but their slower, heavier bits were pretty crushing and I enjoyed the couple of kinda evil-sounding riffs they had in parts. Awesome venue too... good atmosphere and I thought the sound was really good too, especially for a DIY/warehouse set-up.

I thought Pack were really cool... heaps heavier than I was expecting. As said SJN and Pisschrist were awesome, Miso.. yeah not too bad but god, that first band..... totally not my thing.

Perfect venue for the show (depsite me spending an hour walking around the 'other' 293 Lygon St trying to find it...!) and all in all a damn good night!
