Great Gear Scott Vetta II is a killer head, I look forward to buy one in the future.

A question: do you have a separate Noise suppressor or you use the noissupp inside the Vetta II (if there is one)?

Yeah, the Vetta II head has it's own noise gate, but it totally sucks. When you use it and adjust it enough to eliminate noise, it ends up taking away your distortion. So I use a HUSH Super C rack unit. I know THE noise gate unit to have is the Decimator but they are very spendy, and this HUSH has worked great for me. I bought it used in mint condition off eGay for about $150.

ok thanx a lot for the reply and the infos, I do use the noise gate inside my Line 6 POd Xt pro, but it really suck away all the distortion. I'll end up using an external gate as well, thanx again bro

Great gear man,

What speakers do u have in the vader?

They are the standard speakers that come in all Vader cabs. They are a custom version of Eminence Legends specifically designed for only for Vader cabs. At least that's what Adam from Vader tells me. All I know is that it seems that you can throw any amount of power and volume that these cabs and they sound great.

Yeah, I'll do a new gear pick sometime. I've got the second cab now and I'm messing around with incorporating my Digitech 2101 LE as well with a new Behringer midi controller that I picked a few weeks ago.

For anyone wondering, the Jackson you see in the pic in this thread was stolen at a show we played a few months ago. Someone took it right off the stage.

Hey man I will do one, as much of my gear has changed since this thread was created, different guitar, different head. I'm also waiting on a Fractal Audio Axe-Fx Ultra. And I'll be getting a new rack road case that will house everything. So once I get these things all together, I'll surely provide a new pic - it's going to be sick.

Well, I was going to wait until I had all my gear purchased (just need to get an amp/rack road case and a second 4x12 cab road case). But perhaps I could get a pic together now, and post another pic later on. So I'll try to get a current pic up soon.

I sold the Vetta II and I bought an ENGL Invader 100 last fall. I wanted to switch back to using a high quality tube head instead of a solid state head. Not to mention, I realized the effects on the Vetta II while decent, were not 100% what I needed, so I also purchased a Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra. So far I really like the ENGL and Axe-FX a lot more over te Vetta II. The ENGL was also used on our upcoming CD Anatomize. I believe it delivered great tube tone and very clear note definition, that I couldn't get from the Vetta II.
