I thinbk Romain still has problems with his computer and is not able to answer the questions!
Romain started playing drums at 12 (correct me if I am wrong, Romain) and started to play metal almost straight away!
In normal times a plays several hours every day! It's hard work, playing this kind of style!
He is always trying to improve himself and this attitude got him this far!

You can get all Romain's video on his website (direct links or emule links, I don't remember).
Here is the website's link: http://www.infernal-drums.com/

Another website with information 'bout him: http://www.halfmanhalfmachine.net/Romain_main.htm

To Robbe K: Yup he started drums at 12, at least it's what it has been written in the bio.

Hi !!

first happy new brutal year !!!

Well, sorry for reply so late I was busy the last couple of weeks.

OK.
how long have you been playing??
how many hours do you usually go at practice??
what kind of sticks do you use?
and what kind of headphones do you always wear????
also///
I know you have alot of vids on youtube,, and on infernal drumming,,but is there whole videos for sale???

I started playing drums at 12. (I am 25 now)

I try to practice every day, sometimes just 30 min, sometimes 3 or even 4 hours. but most of the time around 2 hours.
I split my time in two parts :
- first : working on blast, double bass with triggers sound in my headphones just in order to work on my tightness.
Also in all situtations, playing live, rehearsing, practicing, I always play with the trigger sound in my head. (I use triggers only for the kick)
Paying live I do not play with a click or something like people think sometimes ! just for triggers. I m sure to hear perfectly all the hits.

- then : working on groove, technical stuff, polyrythms, love listening to Virgil Donati, Mike Mangini, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith...

-I play with Vic Firth 5A.

- headphones : sennheiser HD212 pro

-You can find easily all my videos on youtube.

I will release an instructional DVD as soon I can, perhaps next year.

cheers

Romain
