Dutch Death Metal Machine DEVIOUS (Death Metal, firmly rooted in Thrash) joins forces with DEITY DOWN RECORDS! The release of the long awaited new album "DOMAIN", successor to "Acts of Rage" (Spitzenburg Records, 2003) will be celebrated at "Metropool" in Hengelo, Netherlands on Thursday Februari 1st of 2007. During the release party (count on a few surprises during the event), "DOMAIN" will be available at a special, high discount price. The record will feature 11 brand new tracks as well as a video clip. DEITY DOWN RECORDS' long time only band VERMIN welcome DEVIOUS as their labelmates. All parties involved are looking forward to a fruitful, constructive cooperation.

ENGLISH:


Dutch death/thrash band DEVIOUS has rejoined forces with original vocalist ARNOLD. Frontman COEN had expressed the desire to step down some time ago already, but has helped out in order to fulfill the band's commitments towards bookers and venues while the search for a suitable replacement began.

DEVIOUS' band leader GUIDO comments: "A few rounds of auditioning took place indeed, but we soon concluded that the best man to represent our brutal package is our former vocalist ARNOLD, with whom we recorded "ACTS OF RAGE", our 2003 debut album".

GERARD of DEITY DOWN RECORDS adds: "Props to COEN for the marvelous job that he did on "DOMAIN", DEVIOUS' current album. His decision deserves to be respected, but I also think that the band's future is equally bright with ARNOLD back on board".

The new line-up will debut on stage at Atak in Enschede, Holland on Februari 8th, with supports Hatred (Blasphemous Deliverance CD presentation) and Toxocara.

De Nederlandse death/thrashformatie DEVIOUS en zanger ARNOLD zijn herenigd. Frontman COEN had al aangegeven DEVIOUS vaarwel te willen zeggen, maar heeft desondanks de helpende hand toegestoken om de lopende boekingen niet in gevaar te laten komen terwijl de band op zoek ging naar een geschikte vervanger.

Bandleider GUIDO bevestigt:"We hebben inderdaad enkele auditiesessies gehouden, maar we kwamen al snel tot de conclusie dat de beste man om de opengevallen plaats in te nemen ARNOLD was, met wie in 2003 we ons debuut "ACTS OF RAGE" opnamen".

Bij DEITY DOWN RECORDS vertelt GERARD:"COEN heeft een geweldige prestatie geleverd op "DOMAIN", het lopende album. Zijn beslissing verdient respect, maar ook met ARNOLD terug in de gelederen ziet DEVIOUS' toekomst er onveranderd goed uit".
