This is a video of Lord Marco playing along to our track Revelations. Try to keep in mind that he didn't have any kind of count in for any starts or stops in the song. Some parts are very sketchy, but it's still awesome to see somebody attempt to play our music.

BTW, Marco is not our drummer, he said he made this video just to see if he could "beat the machine" haha.

DUDES yeah i think i got Subliminal Servitude somewhat down. i just love that one groove-harmonic riff, where the china is on beat, then it becomes off beat for like the last two measure it owns. Also i have most of track 2(mastesize or whatever) somewhat down just that one triplet chunky/groove/meshugah style riff i almost have the rythem down. but i will probably make a nother video sometime. maybe not this week but in a few or something. i just gotto get all pissed after working three days of 12 hour shifts for a bunch of retards and rednecks in this town. aight take care

How about Cognitive Dissonance? That song gets no love?

Sounds good, though, man. So far, you're the only one who has stepped up to the plate and made a video. I'm very interested in how you'd play the two songs you listed. The Meshuggah-style groove in Metastasize seems like it's kinda difficult on drums. As well as the entire beginning (which is in 9/4). Sub seems more like the kind of song you could have some fun with (more straight-forward), more room for crazy fills, like the ones you did at the end of Revelations. Hope you can make those vids, and thanks! Keep up the good work.

ETA: I just wanted to give our former Drummer, Steve Powell, credit for that drum beat for the pinch harmonic riff you're talking about. I wish I had come up with that myslef, very cool idea.

I think since lordmarco is learning all these songs for fun or whatever, he might as well join the band! :emot-LOL:

Yeah, KC Howard is in two bands, if he can do it, so can Marco (although KC actually lives in the same city as the two bands he plays in, but minor technicality). :emot-LOL:

I don't know how Marco would feel about toning down the gravities and changing up some areas, though. And I'm still talking to other drummers, another one who is also in Oregon. Fuck it, I might as well post it here:

And, of course, fireblaster. So far, Lordmarco is the only one who has made a video. The ball is basically in all their respective courts.

haha yeah dude i know Aarron personally. he came to the Braindrill show in Portland. he told me he'll hopefully make a video soon. but yeah dudes i basically listen to your cd everyday i can tap all the parts just a matter of what to hit on real drums. haha anyways funny shit. Aarron did tell me he wants to make a video...hopefully soon he will. And that fireblaster guy is chill dude, dunno when he'll make some shiz. I was thinking of video taping me drumming to the whole cd soon, and skip track 3(the instrumental) but yeah. the very first song fucking kicks ass in my opinion it aint too hard either. the intro riff is sumwhat interesting though. haha but it aint bad i have the version before it was even a completed song! haha. take it easy duders

HAHA aaron was seriously druming along to my drumming @ the show! FUCKING SICK. I know he's a huge fan and a goood guy. but yeahh no one in Southern oregon plays death metal its pretty depressing. the only people i have met @ guitar center and such, are like "WHOOOA u are good @ drums, do u listen to Avenge sevenfold?" im like......ehhhhhhhhh..........but yeah man. pretty much anyone who wants move up here and live for CHEAAAP i am down to take over the Oregon metal community with. But as for anomalous. i'd be down to tour, i was originally trying out for Black Dahlia murder, cuz i am sick and tired of working these shitty minimum wage jobs. And touring is what i want to do now, and just play massive shows..... so we'll see what happens. But yeah after to talking to zach gibson a few times and after realizing that black dahlia murder plays @ 140 bpm instead of 300bpm (what i'm use to) i am thinking it might not be the right thing for me..... plus i just dont want to join a "somewhat known" band and be the new guy and get HELLA ripped offf. cuz this is what always happens. bands loose drummers becuase they dont pay the drummers well(being new), and they search for Young and willing guys to join, then they just ripp them off......**cough VR** anyways enough typing take care guys

That's fucked up, especially considering how important the role of the drummer is in metal music. But I know what you're saying, it would be easy to rip off a new member and make more money for the original members; whereas if you joined a band before they were shit, the money would be more likely to be split evenly. I firmly believe that all credit, earnings and props should be distributed communally.
