afew questions about the fest

this will be my first time traveling to the midwest so im not at all familiar with the area. so im curious how far the hotels are from the venue. and what major city the venue is near

The city Champagne (spelling?) and Urbana are near the venue (venue being in Urbana), the hotels are just a few blocks from the venue as well. The Venue itself is like right in the middle of University of Illinois.

venue seats about 1200 and has a seated balconey and very large stage....most vndors will be in main room...few in bar....parking is the worst thing about the whole deal...all metered..so bring plenty of change....

other then that...really a solid place..laid back on the smokin and security arn't assholes...

Ohhh yeah dude ill definetly have to rock a backpack ill be puttin away afew bucks for merch without a doubt. I know from the fests I have been to here in maryland you can end up spending a lot of cash. You plannin on going this year man? You roadtrippin or flyin?

Hell yeah, this fest is going to RULE. I can't wait :D

One of the coolest things about this venue is that it DOES allow re-entry. I hate places that don't. There are food joints that are pretty close...same w/ gas stations if you are just lookin for some munchies.

You can avoid the meter thing if you park at the Krannert Center which is North from the Canopy Club. They have a little parking garage thing and it's really close to the venue.

Oh yeah, so whoever wanted to know about the airport, we have a small one here called Willard Airport, it's about 5 miles from the venue.

the venue is one of the best i ever saw! much space, good stage and also seats inside. absolutly great!

we booked our flight tickets so a small group of germans is coming again!
