Underground death/grind/gore legends IMPETIGO will reform for one show only at the Central Illinois Metalfest, which will take place July 20-21, 2007 at the Canopy Club in Urbana, IL. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

It's a shame that the Impetigo reunion has to be at a fest full of trendy nu death poser bands who probably never heard of Impetigo in their whole lives.
And he's kinda right. Doesn't make much sense for them to do their reunion on a fest like this.

Well, I like Devourment way more than I do Impetigo, but pretty much any Razorback band > any br00tal dm band. :) They just don't really fit on that lineup. Shoulda did it at the Goregon Massacre shiz. Or just played in IL with Ghoul and Splatterhouse.

Razorback bands and stuff along that general style. So far next year's fest is:

lol, they're decent. Vocals are kinda annoying though.

Ghoul is one of the best live bands ever though. Them alone is awesome.
