Out of those 4 links, #2 and #3 are my favorite. They just look like they were built many years ago, despite the fact they're not that old. I love old houses.

We built, so ours is less than 2 years old. But I'm trying to furnish it (slowly I might add) with either old furniture, or stuff that has an older style to it. And when I get hardwood floors I'm going to beat the shit our of them to get that old look. I'm like someone's grandma or something when it comes to how I want my house to look.

What color you pick? The siding is champange, I forget the roof colr but it's a mix of darker colors and the marble is black with white contrasts

They haven't started digging yet but I talked to the framers, whom I know on a personal level, and they told me that they would start framing in about 4 weeks. After that it should be quick. Estimating closing is December 30th
