Whats up. I wanted to get a cd of cranial impalement but it is not on your website. I also wanted some shirts. Any shirts laying around, medium preffered? I like that shirt you guys got from thailand! Or consume the forsaken or she lay gutted shirts? I think i'm going to also get that cranial impalement shirt.

Hey, man. Sorry but haven't heard from Bloodline yet. I guess they are sold out of those design that's why they never relply. It's tough to get Disgorge merch nowadays and I regret selling/trading the old designs I have. You could try eBay hehehe....

I got a cool shirt form their tour when they were in Australia, when I asked them about merch - most of them work pretty full on in construction when not touring and find it really hard to handle that side of things. If their label aint doing it, then it's always going to be a wait for what ever you order.

Brutal Bands should sign 'em. From what I heard, they really care about bands they sign. And I'd finally have a damn good reason to get that package deal of theirs. ;)

Honestly, I think brutal bands would be the perfect label for disgorge. Scott really has his shit together, seems EXTREMELY trustworthy from a band's perspective, and would certainly give Disgorge a shit-ton of attention considering the caliber of band they are.

Fuck Crash music.

Well, the fault is on both sides. The band is kinda slow when it comes to postal service, and the people that don't get merch forget to do this:

I ain't gonna go defending them because some of the failed orders are the bands fault. But... Some plainly didn't go through because the person that ordered stuff, paid for it and didn't get it did nothing to sort it out, going around whining, telling everyone they guys in Disgorge are assholes instead. Just acting helpless overall. That's just my opinion though.

Signing Disgorge would be a killer addition to our roster for sure. Sure would make for some killer package deals too. But I think they are one of those bands that's looking for what they think is a big name label that's going to promote them more, which is why they went with Crash Music over Unique Leader. But I don't think they came close to getting out of Crash Music what they thought they were going to get. But regardless, BB could probably offer them the biggest deal they've ever seen and I think they would turn it down and go with the more "flashy" deal versus the one that looks damn good on paper (contract). But I could be wrong.

The thing with bands like Disgorge or others of their caliber is that they are so busy looking for the next big deal, that they don't even bother to find out what a label like BB can offer them. I've seen a handful of good bands unknownly pass up an offer from BB before ever seeing an offer, and then signing for a lesser offer from another label. :bonk:

They know of Brutal Bands, if they are interested, they know who to contact. :hbang32en

In reality, a label like yours would be much better suited for them ... and for the same reasons one would try to argue against said fact.

Because Disgorge are a high cailber death metal band, they would recieve IMMENSE attention and efforts from a label like BB... whereas signing to a large label as a band that doesn't create tons of revenue just about guarantees that you will be ignored relative to the label's other bands. Not only that, Crash's sales fucking suck. They can get your albums into FYE for 18 fucking dollars with their huge distro (caroline), but they'll sit there and collect dust. (sad truth) Check crash's online store. It's the worst looking, most un-inviting label store I think I've ever seen. Do they even sell all of their own releases in it?

Whereas with Brutal bands the fan can consistently expect new merch to be developed and available for purchase, typically multiple designs, BEFORE the album even drops. Products are merchandised in packages (which increases sales), they're sold in a web-store that looks great/is simple to navigate (also increases sales), and the store's service record is damn near untouchable. Dependability is huge.

And that's really only a small chunk of what I see happening.

Really if you want to skip all that and just catch the point:

Disgorge should sign with BB. So should have Dethroned (RIP), and Unmerciful... etc.

Couldn't agree with you more on everything you said here.

And Unmerciful is one of the bands that never took the time to even see what we had to offer. But to be honest after hearing their CD, I'm totally cool with how that one worked out. There was a lot of hype for that release and as a fan I was sort of let down after hearing it.

Dethroned would have been a must - too bad they couldn't hold it together.

Well, you guys signed fucken DEVOURMENT, who are hailed as legendary by some, so I don't think Disgorge is impossible. ;)

Well the guys in Devourment are different from many bands. They actually did their homework before contacting BB. They even went as far as to contact other bands in our roster and interview them about their experiences with BB before even contacting me. A lot of bands out there get caught up in all the hype that some labels have and just jump on their deals regardless of what other possible offers are out there or could be out there. Sure, I feel confident that BB could probably make a band like Disgorge the best offer they've ever seen. But what it basically comes down to is this, do they want a label with a big flashy name that might shit on them, or do they want to be on a newer label with a rock solid history of doing good things and treating bands how they want to be treated. All bands should know, that most labels do suck. So with that being so openly known, why not do a little research and only deal with the good ones?

I had some dealings with Crash Music before Disgorge signed to them, so I knew how they were. I felt bad for them when I found out they left Unique Leader for Crash Music. Hopefully they only signed with Crash Music for that one release. They are a good band and really cool guys to hang out with too, so I wish them the best of luck for sure.

in my opinion BB and Neurotic are THE new labels. they may not carry my favorite music, but roadrunner hasnt carried my favorite tunes since they bumped everybody in the 90s.... for me itd be all about being in constant contact and with you and ruud ( i realize youre different labels but both have forums here and both have an active guy posting) assure that

I don't seen anyone putting so much effort into promoting their bands as Scott does. He is constantly dropping bombs on SMN forums, Myspace, etc, all full of awesome package deals by top-quality DM artists. I've ordered a few times from Brutal Bands, and everything I've ever recieved is of the best quality, and arrives quickly. (Unlike relapse, which sent me a Origin shirt that faded to grey within 6 months.)
IMO, Brutal Bands would be the smartest move Disgorge could make. Scotty would be pumping the fuck out of their release, promoting non-stop. 90% of the albums I hear about are via word of mouth.
Disgorge- if you're reading this- Sign to Brutal Bands records!
Then you won't ever have to worry about merch either! lol.
