What are the chances of having some Czech bands finally making it over to the states for MDF this yer? I would kill to see the likes of Gride, Ingrowing, Carnal Diafragma, etc... I know that Evan and Ryan have said in the past that it is hard to get the Czechs over here but what causes all the problems? U.S Customs?

Pretty slim chance. I live in the same town as Ingrowing and Gride, they are good friends of mine and of course they want to play MDF. But the chances of all band members getting visas to travel to the US is still slim. Czech people are treated like prisoners and it's pretty stupid..

This really sucks. Who prevents them from getting the VISAS? The US government or the Czech? I guess I'll eventually have to make a trip over to the Obscene fest to get a chance to see these bands.

This man speaks the truth. What ever happened to them? Didn't the brothers move to England and start a new band.

Changed the band name to Lykathê and had only one member original member left then i guess lost all interest on the project and quit. he kept changing the band name anyway from Appalling Spawn to Lykathea Aflame then to Lykathê

in '02 I think.


and according to all sources I've read, Tomas and Ptoe are still writing songs (drummer and vocalist) under the name Lykathe. I can't find conformation, but they were scheduled to record this summer.



and goddamn it !T.O.O.H! is sooo fucking good.
