Yeah it got announced a while ago... Its cool this has finally happened, its been rumoured for so long, but I never thought it would. When we played St/Petes/Tampa earlier in the year we stayed at Bill Taylors and from what he was telling me about what Gene was up to these days I never thought this would have happened.

John Longstreth has reunited with Gene Palubicki and Pete Helmkamp to complete the original ANGELCORPSE lineup.
The new ANGELCORPSE record "OF LUCIFER AND LIGHTNING" to be released tentatively in Spring 07'.

Didn't they dump him years ago for playing "to slow"? I wonder if he boosted his skills.

BTW, does somebody like Feldgrau? I fuckin' love it, although it sounds quite strange.

yeah, there were varous reasons, Another I was told was that Jim Morris had to edit his drums so much that he told them they would not be able to return to morrisound with him on the drums. I think you can defititely hear an almost machine like style to the drums on Exterminate as a result of that. Certainly by the sounds of his work with Origin, Skinless and Dim mak however I think its a differnt story these days.

I absolutely agree, considering the skillness Longstreth reached listening to the ORIGIN albums... about the drums edit, well, I think that if Helkmamp called him back, It must be that something changed (or in the Longstreth precision; or in the Helkamp needs - don't forget that the REVENGE sound isn't what we can call "clear", I consider it amazing, but surely not "crystal clear"; or maybe, they will edit drums at home!!! ;) )
