So we're already back with the second round of band announcements! We plan to confirm 28-30 total bands and clearly we should be finished the booking process before the usual targeted time of December.

Here are the next 7 bands confirmed to appear at Maryland Deathfest 2007:

i agree with deathevocation for the most part. im excited as hell for Brutal Truth, Birdflesh, Rotten Sound, and Jigsore Terror but id really like to see bands like Psycroptic, Dim Mak, Spawn of Possession, Vile, Vader, Decrepit Birth, Visceral Bleeding, etc.. thrown on

The more foreign goregrind the better, fuck bland death metal bands that tour every 4 months.

Uh, most the dm bands people are asking for don't tour here and aren't even close to being "bland."

It's cool how it is so far. Almost all the bands are awesome. If there's a ton more grind shit, it'll get insanely boring though.

the lineup needs to be more diverse. right now, its all-out grind. i like a little less than half the bands playing. i for the most part hate goregrind so im obviously not as psyched as most of you. but this fest isnt catering to me. i just want some death metal bands in there. id kill to see Dim Mak live. shit, bring Crowpath down. their drummer alone would blow everyone at the fest away. and why not dive into what little is left of thrash and get Andralls and Torture Squad from Brazil. if that happened, id line you all up like circus seals and blow you all. but yea, i realize Ryan and the other dude only get the bands they like to play. thats cool. i just hope they see the bands im mentioning, like them, and bring them here

I honestly thought the lineup was sweet to the max with the first 7 bands announced. The second set of bands were like added extras. I'm 100% happy with this lineup. But I would not mind some more DM bands on there.

I <3 Grind though.

we aren't finished, guys.

and one thing to keep in mind: we can't always get every band we ask to play. For exmaple we've asked Dim Mak 100 times about what's going on with them and we never hear back. We're trying to get Psycroptic on a tour because flying them over from Australia for one show would be too much, etc. You will all have your asses kicked in when all is said and done no matter what develops, so stay tuned.

No, I was being sarcastic about Milwaukee. That fest is supposed to happen in like 1 month? and haven't even posted any band annoucements yet, or venue even for that matter I don't think. It's turned into a pretty big joke.
