I believe I started to listen to them after R. Borlax first came out, and my friend showed me their purevolume. So my question is, when did you start listening to them? (Also, who caught them at SOTU and Warped?)

About 6-7 months ago. A friend had them on in the car and I was like WTF is this. It was HORSE. It was love.

I simply saw a commercial by Combat Records last September, that advertised HORSE the band along with labelmates Look What I Did and At All Cost. So, I went to there purevolume.com sites to hear the bands. Since then, I've been hooked.

I started listening to Horse shortly after Borlax came out. I kinda found out about Horse by accident. I would only casually listen to them at first, but then I became mildly obsessed and I then proceeded to corrupt and infect my brother's life by introducing him to horse. HWMusic is my bro.

Two and a half years ago I was introduced with Cutsman off of the mix tape on GameBored.com when it was actually being updated and whatnot.

That was a pinnacle moment in my life.

I'd heard their name being thrown around for about a year before I saw them open for The Dillinger Escape Plan. It was instant love.

about a year and a half ago I started listening to them. I first saw them with between the buried and me: probably the best concert I have ever been to.

Since Feb. of this year. I saw Birdo on one of those music channels on cable tv that just stream music... not videos. About a week later I picked up themechanicalhand. Since then, my myspace has been dedicated to them haha.

Have you ever noticed that when discovering HORSE, many people (I include myself here) don't have such a good first impression, but end up LOVING the band eventually ?

My friend Jamie was bored and looked up bunnies on Kazaa or something two years ago. He found that song, was amazed abnd rushed for more. He told me about them the next day. I got hooked and got a shitload. I found them hilarious and the musicailty amazing.
So far the only album in my possession is The Mechanical Hand. It's the only one offered where I live, which is pretty sucky.
I luvs it though.

Haha I was bored out of my mind so I downloaded bearshare to search for some new band's.Seeing as I am retarded I searched animal name's.Leave it this HORSE the band to write a song called "bunnies"! This random search lead me on to get a lot of there song's and steal R.Borlax off The Paient and rock out to those good tune's. This all lead to me finding one of my favorite band't today.

Hahaha, BUNNIES TWITCHING!:emot-LOL:

about two years ago. someone showed me cutsman on their purevolume. our internet was terrible so i would just hear the beginning of it over and other again, the synth with the guitar, and it was amazing to me. i know it wasn't that long ago because birdo was on that page too.

I first heard about them about a year and a half ago.
it was the intro to Birdo, and i thought to myself.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!? GET THAT SHIT OFF MY STEREO GUS!(cousin)IS THAT A ZOMBIE OR WHAT?

few months later i heard Big Blue Violence and my obsession took over

my friends discovered htb like 4 or 5 years ago
and all of them loved it but i kinda hated it because i thought
it was pure noise and fags trying to be "evil"
but then i started to truly listen to the songs, the lyrics, ALL,
and now its one of my favorite bands top 3 or someshit

im like the only one of my crew
who still really like them

bought R. Borlax out of a recommendation from a forum somewhere...I liked it but wasn't yet into it...I was obsessed with shitty ass metalcore at the time. however much time later, the mechanical hand was out - and I picked that up - and fell in love with the cd. Manateen is the track that i really came to like first. Upon revisiting R.Borlax I realized how amazing it is...Got really into Pols Voice and Big Blue Violence for a while.

Since that every track theyve made amazes me. I admire those of you who have followed the band since inception lol

It still pisses me off to this day that i wasted so much time that I could have spent loving R Borlax and wasted it on BAD music that i cant stand anymore haha...

such is life.

picked up R. borlax a little over 2 years ago because i had a little extra money and was browsing through cds. Seeing a song called cutsman sold me in a heartbeat. That was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

They had a show in Michigan in which like maybe 40 or so people shown up. I could hardly hear any fucking words and thought they were "O.K." from what I could tell. Then they finished their short set with Cutsman. I somehow grasped what I was listening to and laughed my ass off. I went home and downloaded a couple songs off LimeWire. Even since HORSE has made a little cult around my area. I'm more than happy to a part of it.
