View Full Version : Anyone hear the new Slayer cd?

New Slayer cd kinda disappointing, IMO. Like their last (God hates us all) but lacking the stand out tracks (like disciple, bloodline, etc.) New album is like OK for a metal album but not for a "Slayer" album

I wouldn't expect it to be good. The last Slayer CD that I was into was Divine Intervention. Everything after that blows in my opinion. They've lost what they once had years ago, and I don't see them ever regaining it unfortunately.

True I guess...their lyrics are getting a bit repetitive. I thought Seasons... was a mature departure from the earlier stuff, but the new stuff is pretty juvenile

yeah I have to say Im pretty dissapointed. They are just rehashing what they did 20 years ago, at about 1/4 the power, originality and catchiness. Its the same thing over and over. They should stop making new albums and just tour and play the stuff everyone loves.
