Which of Razorback's two big releases so far this year is the best?

(and no being a smart ass and saying Blood Freak or something!!)

I went with Ghoul. Both are awesome, but Ghoul is just funner to listen to.

They're a tie with me, so I'll balance it out with Frightmare.

I'll rather go for Ghoul, because i haven't had the opertunity to listen to the new Frightmare album yet... But in regular ways I like Ghoul more then Frightmare, so...

Yeah, the new Frightmare is pretty boring. The songs are way too long for Frightmare. As for Ghoul, you need to listen to it second time to really get into it (at least for me). Reason being, it's just so different from the past two releases. Although, the last two releases are completely different from each other as well. All in all, Splatterthrash is a kick ass album! The real question is, are you guys pumped for the other 17 Frightmare/Blood Freak releases?!

Yeah, the new Frightmare is pretty boring. The songs are way too long for Frightmare. And the production (which gave Frightmare their sound) changed. I know, I know, the production was great on the new album. But not every band should have great production. Venom for instance, "Welcome to Hell" has the sound of Venom that I know and love... Crap. And the old Frightmare had Misfits style riffs with the production of Terrorizer. I'm not even gonna' get started on the new Terrorizer...

Haha, a little "more" than a run in. But nah, I don't let personal conflicts interfere with music. The new album just sucks.

Frightmare by far. Splatterthrash doesn't hold a candle to Bringing Back The Bloodshed in my opinion. The new ghoul album is rediculously goofy and the new vocal style Digestor uses is retarded.

"Midnight Murder Mania" was really good, "Bring Back the Bloodshed" sucked, and I know for a fact that "Lead-up to the Letdown" will blow gorilla balls.

Agreed. I liked "Midnight Murder Mania" better than "Bringing Back the Bloodshed", but still enjoyed the latter immensely. I did vote for Ghoul in this here thread however, because I got into "Splatterthrash" much more.

When it comes right down to it though, both are awesome bands.

as much as i love Ghoul, the new Frightmare is just balls out more fist-pumping. pull its not straight up thrash. and hearing Dave's inhales there are just pure orgasmic.

The newest Blood Freak is possibly better than Frightmare too.
