so, has is anyone here a member of the first church of the mechanical hand on myspace? if so, then you may know what im talking about. being a member of the church i have to say, what really bugs me is that the majority of the members are fags that fail to realize that it is essentially just a fan club. yes, i know its all about how worthless you are and accepting lady light or some bullshit like that, but the truth is, yeah, it is fun to pretend about the mechanical hand, but only to an extent. i feel that no one else has the right to talk about the mechanical hand or lady light apart from nathan because they dont know shit and they are gay. dont get me wrong, when nathan rights about this story, i love it. it gives a better insight into the meanings of the songs. but its not just them, its all the fans like them. i listen to horse becuase its good music and i dont see how anyone can take songs about mario, pizza, and megaman seriously, its just fun to listen to.

so to all the fags out there who want to share their views on "how to escape the mechanical hand" and "are in love with lady light": stop being gay.

actually, what if the members of the band are sick of people thinking they write nintendo songs? you ask how to take songs about mario and megaman seriously, but nathan has stated they aren't ABOUT them, they're metaphors for something more serious. yeah, it's great they don't take themselves too seriously, but the songs for the most part have deeper meanings.

and hasn't nathan stated that 'pizza' will be a break from seriousness, which implies that their previous songs aren't just megaman and mario tributes? just b/c you lack any intellect or care for deeper themes, doesn't mena that every horse fan should only listen to horse b/c they (seemingly) write joke songs that are fun and that's it. i sure as hell don't listen to music for such adolescent reasons, that's for sure.

yeah, joke songs are great but they are made better with deeper meanings. i just think that these deep meanings should be taken with a grain of salt and stupid fans need to stop acting like they know all about "lady light" and bull shit stuff because they are gay and it makes me want to punch them in the neck. HORSE is more or less about the entire mood of their music and their ability to make the sounds of a dying fetus into an art. I find them more enjoyable to listen and punch things to rather than over analyzing the lyrics which may OR may not pertain to friggin megaman for godsakes.
