90 mb for an album? Isn't that huge?

Is this how it's going to sound on the actual CD? The music is good but the quality is poor.

Yeah, the production doesn't sound too great to me. I love this either way though.

The old Misery Signals is better. No question. But this is still amazing.

Jesse sounded nothing live like on the CD though, and Karl does. The songwriting is very similar to Of Malice but it took a heavier, more structured approach which I think is good. Not as good as OMAMH but still good.

I agree that Karl sounds more spot on than Jesse did, but i also think thats because Karl doesnt even attempt the range that Jesse did. He just takes the easy way out and screams his head off. I think his voice is great...its just not what im expecting out of Misery Signals songs. I spose thats pretty much my fault though. I just miss the range and uniqueness of old MS.

Loud Hardcore screams and Soft Hardcore Screams =/= range. hahaha.

lol, true. The one thing I can say for sure is I really miss Jesse's lyrics.

Yeah, this album met my expectations. Not as good as Of Malice but still an excellent effort.

Guys, I'm a huge Misery Signals fan, but part of their sound on Of Malice was completely due to Devin Townsend. He made Jesse sound that way, listen to the Of Malice demos or the ep, Jesse sounds completely different. He also didn't write most of the lyrics, Murder was written by Kyle Johnson, the bass player, and most of the others are written by Ryan Morgan, the guitarist. This album is pretty fucking good but I definitely need more listens to really accurately judge it.

umm, i dont know why everyone is jocking this cds nuts so hard. repetitive as shit, vocals are monotonous except for the singing part which wasnt all that great.

omamh is fucking excellent, i listen to that cd all the time, but this just didnt do it for me at all.
