They played a killer show tonite in Philly that had a lame turn out (under 200) but very dedicated fans. They played like crazy, came back did an encore, posed for pics, etc. CRYPTOPSY rule!!! Go see 'em in NYC next week please!

Hey man, you go to shows in Philly? I used to live in southern NJ and went to Troc shows all the time before I moved to Virginia for work. Sucks that Cryptopsy had a poor turn out. But I'll be seeing them down at the Jaxx in Virginia tomorrow night(Thursday). Hopefully they won't cancel on me for the 4th time in a row! I was pissed when I found out they didn't show up at the First Unitarian in May but I think they had a legitimate excuse.

Dude, you call 200 a lame turn out????

Yesterday, I saw Anata play London and there were 30 people there (including the 2 opening bands!). And yet, they played like it was the Wembley Stadium.

And to be honest, the band honestly looked like they had fun too. It is so awesome when a band is able to do that.

I saw Cryptopsy at the Jaxx in Virginia last night and I must say the turn out was VERY shitty. There were barely enough people to fill up about 4 rows of people in front of the stage. That aside, that is the only complaint since Cryptopsy absolutely fucking crushed yet again. This is one band that never disappoints.

they had DVDs, CDs, None so Vile Tshirts and longsleeves. If anyone wants a DVD I have two, I'd sell one for like $10 plus shipping. My girl bought it for me and I already have it, it's very good.

It was like 150 people there, which yeah i did think was lame. When hardcore bands play they have 10 X the crowd, a club I bounced at in Allentown used to have over 2000 for HateBreed.

I can imagine they're tired of playing NSV material since they toured on that album for a year. I'd like to hear more Blasphemy material.

I'd like more Blasphemy material as well, it's a very under rated album IMO.

Especially the second half of the album.

On the topic of Cryptopsy...anyone know what's wrong with their forum? It hasn't worked in a few days.

I think they're amazing indeed as well. Very interesting to listen to. At least all the people who disagree with me about Slayer are all huge Cryptopsy fans. That is a saving grace.
