maybe some of you dont share that opinion, but the sound on the promo was a bit to crashy to me (i know its just a promo).
but is the new album heading the same direction? i think wolfgang said in an interview that he wasnt to crazy about the sound on "prelude". are there going to be changes in the arrangement?

I hope they don't stray too far from the sound on the demo. A few little things need tweaking of course. Lille, perhaps try and make the tone a little more "tabbing friendly" this time? :p Nah, I know you'll make it fucking sick.

Let it be known they scoop the shit out of everything (well they did on the promo anyway), the way it should be with this kind of record.

I absolutely loved the sound of the promo, the guitar tone was MASSIVE.
I'm a bit anxious about the sound of the new album, since I'm not always 100% content with the Soundlodge sound (for example on the new Defloration album...), I really hope they'll prove me wrong on that.

I think we got a nice compromise between the promo and PTTT soundwise!

Hmmm, as I've said before, as long as you keep enough mud, it should be all good... hope it's a little closer to the promo side!

I agree that the sound needs to be dirtier than PTTT, but not too much like the promo. I found it difficult to hear what was being played at certain parts.

Sounds very promising.
Where did you actually record the promo?
(Komisch, mit nem Deutschen auf Englisch zu kommunizieren, aber passt ja... arme internationale DS-Fans ;) )

Seems like they did a very good job for a *-core studio :D
Anyways, I can't wait to listen to the first promo MP3 (please not Hideously Disembodied ;) )

That's the fun of it, figuring it out after listening over and over and over and over and over and over again! I seriously think I wouldn't mind if the entire album had the same production as the promo, obviously it won't but I just loved the sound on that promo.

So the promo MP3 has arrived and what should I say?
Lille didn't promise too much. It's really a nice compromise between PTTT and the promo - and in my opinion closer to the promo than to PTTT, which is fucking cool. :emot-danc
Absolutely great sound.
