Older interview that got printed recently in this bad ass paper zine!
1) ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THE SAVAGE BUTCHERY? I DON´T MIND IF IS NOT CAUSE I´M GOING TO CUT FONDLE CORPSE IN SMALL PARTS…JEJEJE

2)TO START WITH CAN YOU LET US KNOW YOUR ACTUAL LINE UP? UNTILL THIS MOMENT IF I´M NOT WRONG YOU HAVE RELEASED 2 EPS AND A CD COMPILING THE EPS PLUS SOME OTHER EXTRA SHIT. CAN YOU LET US KNOW MORE ABOUT THOSE RELEASES? ARE STILL AVAILABLES?
The actual Line-up for Fondlecorpse is Me, Silvester, i am a couchpotatoe, a dirty disgusting little man, a dwarf addicted to fastfood, soda’s, popcorn and watching as many horror /gore/ b-movies as i can and oldschool cartoons on Vocals, Krite the drummer is an escaped Critter always hiding from intergalactic bountyhunters, Bas our Guitarist is a thrashing madman of a mashed thrashed potato, and Mathijs our Bassist creates sleazy bass riffs while moshing all over the place like a potato out of hell. And well our first release was the split 7” ep with the band Inkblack all 500 copies are totally sold out, than we returned to do a full 7” record called “limbless” which featured 6 new songs by us. This one is close to being sold out off all 500 copies also. A lot of People kept asking us to burn cdr’s and pestering me to get it on cd, so Posercrusher Records figured it would be fun to release so i said fuck it we will drop all the songs on cd and released the “From beyond the Crypt” cd, We added a few songs of the first rehearsal we did years ago for the “Limbless” ep just for fun. Thats pretty much what we have done sofar. And its just the warm up for more insane stuff yet to come!
3)FONDLE CORPSE USES A DRUM MACHINE…THERE´S NO ONE WITH THE ENOUGH BALLS TO PLAY WITH FONDLE CORPSE?
That is correct, because we can’t find ANY proper drummer at all with balls, who has a decent skill, or who doesn’t backstab us, we were forced to use a drummachine. We wish it wasn’t the case but what can we do? We refuse to get a subpar drummer who fucks up and wastes our time. But our new material should have a real drummer since we have a few links to session drummers. So with any luck all our new material will be as a full fledged band finally!
4) YOUR MUSIC IS A KIND OF OLD DEATH METAL WITH SOME GRIND TOUCHES …HOW DO YOU DEFINE IT? WHICH ARE YOUR MAIN INFLUENCES IN THE SONGWRITTING? AND WHAT´S ABOUT YOUR FAVE BANDS? I THINK AUTOPSY, ABCESS, IMPETIGO, CANNIBAL CORPSE, REPULSION, …ARE SOME OF THEM, AREN´T THEM?
Well we do have a few other musical touches in our music like grind and thrash but i would say, simply put, we are Oldschool Deathmetal. The things that influence me in the songwriting process are mainly things that intrest me and occupy me in everyday life. Mainly Anything gore / B-movie / Horror, everything from 80’s thrashculture the cartoons toys etc etc. My talks with Nickolle the muse of Gore, Movies with funny creatures, Mainly everything around me i like. Usually i just read books or watch movies buy toys and something than triggers an idea and than i write a song about it. I usually just let it “come to me”. As to who my fave bands are, thats always a hard one. There are tons of bands that i like, some but not limited to: Autopsy, Impetigo, Carcass, Bolt Thrower, Old Cannibal Corpse, Engorged, Lord Gore, Fornicator, Machetazo, Funerot, Splatterhouse, IHR, Ghoul, Frightmare, Impaled, Mortician, GSR, Butcher ABC, Abscess, Zuckuss, Troglodyte, Whore, Crypticus, Zombie Ritual, Cardiac Arrest, Old Misfits, Schnauzer, Kutabare, Bloodfreak, Coffins, and the list goes on and on and on.
5)I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE FUTURE PLANS FOR FONDLE CORPSE, YOU HAVE SOME KIND OF CONTRACT WITH RAZORBACK? ARE THEY GOING TO PUT OUT YOUR NEXT RELEASE? WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS GORE/HORROR GRIND LABEL? I THINK IS THE BEST LABEL FOR A BAND INTO GORE GRIND…WHICH ARE YOUR FAVE RAZORBACK RELEASES? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF BANDS AS MACHETAZO, ENGORGED, COFFINS, …AND THE REST OF THE RAZORBACK CATALOGUE? NO ONE INTO GORE GRIND MUST LOST THE CHANCE OF BUY THE RAZORBACK CDS!!!
We joined the hive short after releasing our first ep, but we decided we wanted to grow first as a band before we wrote our debut cd. The ep’s are to me basically our demo’s and figuring out what works for us and grow as a band. We wanted to wait with our debut on Razorback untill i was comfortable with our sound and was sure we can record an album we are happy with. And we fit perfectly in the Hive i think, musicwise and concept wise and we have a lot of good friends in the hive we communicate with a lot, i guess the best thing about it is that it’s a kind of big family instead of a list of names. We all help eachother out and it’s basically a huge group of friends with similar intrests doing their thing instead of just being a label with a batch of names on a roster. We “signed” with Razorback because we stand behind Billy and Jill 100% and they respect us as a band and they are good friends, they help us where they can and they give us the one thing we need and that is full artistic freedom. It is the best thing a band can get from a label. And i think there is a mutual respect for the hard work we both do on band and label and the total honesty with which we do it, we do it for OURSELVES above anything else. We both know how hard it can be to do your own thing because there are a lot of people who will give you shit for it, be it jealousy or general retardation. And i pretty much like almost all the bands in the hive, if i didn’t we wouldn’t have allied ourselves to them. Like i said before a lot of the bands are on the same wavelenght as us. And well bands like Engorged and Machetazo are on top of the game i think, same with bands like Ghoul and Frightmare. As far as us, We are now working on getting two split cd’s recorded one with Frightmare and one with Engorged, and we have slowly started working on our debut cd “Creaturegore”. Expect some crazy packaging and other ideas for the upcoming cd’s.
