First band announcements for MDF and Auditory Assault coming this week

we'll have the first 6-8 band ready to confirm for MDF 2007 and remember that this will only be the beginning of everything that is to come...

also, we're just waiting for details to finalize with the headliner for auditory assault, and when things do develop, your head will probably explode once it's announced.

I can't wait to see who is coming. I don't know I will make it out from OC, CA but I sure would hope to. I'll tell you, if The Amenta are on the bill it will be very difficult for me not to come.

Would you be interested in building a fest for the west coast? I've been to nearly every venue in So Cal and know some bands and industry people, but don't know how to organize a fest.

OK, so according to the agency we're dealing with, the deal for the headliner for Auditory Assault was 99.9999999% confirmed last Wednesday. We didn't hear anything about it since then and put a deadline on a deal for this evening, so we will know for sure then. If it falls through, we have a backup plan that will be equally as good.
And as soon as this happens, we'll announce MDF bands at the same time.

It's July, man. There are 10 months until MDF 5, as someone already mentioned.

And if your impatience is about Auditory Assault, we were told that the deal was 99.9% for the headliner by their manager several weeks ago, but just recently received the 100% and can't announce it until tomorrow afternoon.

Regardless just check the web site tomorrow.
