POSTHUMOUS BLASPHEMER was founded in 2001. The idea of the project includes the distribution of the death/grind contagion within the post-Soviet countries (and beyond their territory, too), as well as raising the level of the native brutal stage.
At first P.B. was planned as a studio project only, but thanx to the positive reviews of the local freaks we have decided to make live performances. In January, 2002, the material for “Avantground Undergrind” has been finally recorded and mastered. In 2003 the Ukrainian label DAC prods. released it in the CD format (no fucking СD-R!). I should state that this was the first piece of brutal in Belarus that was released on CD beyond the bounds of our country.
The music, or rather the antimusic, comprises our favourite styles, for example death and grind. The album shows the domination of the second component. Here you will not find progressive guitar complexities – everything is simple and brutal, but it strikes you as an ax onto your head! Besides, this meat grinder is diluted by an instrumental theme called «Off the Ark». The lyrical part is dedicated to the murder of the fears with the help of which some dudes make their fortunes – you can find detailed information regarding this issue in our booklet.
The next full-size album was «Putrespermfaction Versus Fertiholyzation». We had recorded it by winter of the year 2004 when having the following people in the band: FIENDHARON – guitars/drums, ALEXZONDER – bass, NOKTERONITH – voice. This album differs from the previous one by the technical manner, savage growl and sound quality. The CD was released by two Russian labels, namely by Monsters Corp. and Relics rec. The tracks became much more diverse and sophisticated. In 2004 we had to part with NOKTERONITH, because his participation at live shows was impossible. A new vocalist BIVEN came and took part in recording the next album of ours, the third CD called “Crucified Humiliation” (Sound Age prods./Relics rec., 2005).
