I've noticed something in the past few days, There's alot of good drummers out there, but I've also noticed something else.....There's no good drummers anywhere in Los Angeles...The only one that I think is good in Los Angeles is Tim Yeung. From there everyone is a crapshoot.

Well, the drummer from Banishment is pretty solid. Also I ran into a old guy blasting the drumsets like maniac at Sam Ash in Hollywood who said he used to play in a heavy metal band in the late 70s but now plays jazz.

Well I think Banishment are ok, they aren't anything special...and Excretion, they are just a waste of air...Those kids need to get better at what they do and stop being too cocky with their band...Beause honestly, they aren't good. There is this other drummer I jammed with before that knew how to hypergrind, hyperblast....Pretty much owned, but he plays for some stupid ass band called Death Realm.

Well Excretion used to be sick as fuck man. Ever listen to the song Human Urinal or the old Cuntless you'll be thrashing mad.

Personally I think banishment is amazing. Real quality shit right there. Your lucky you don`t live in Michigan. Atleast you guys have the scene in california.

Parts of it. Over here in Tulare County, besides country and rap, the only other music is emo and metalcore. There's maybe five or six guys that like death metal here. I was jamming with one, but he's already in another band. So, if I want to stay here, I have to 'Shawn Whitaker' it. And that fucking sucks.

You dont really need to live near your band members. I mean it really helps alot but the internet is such a great tool. I am currently doing this with Incinerate.

I don't know man. The only real couple of death metal bands in an over an hour away. And with gas, fuck that. But like you said, the internet is a great tool. You play in Incinerate now? That's fucking awesome dude. Congrats.

Id like to hear some of this stuff. Are they sending you the tracks with just guitars and bass, or what?

They sent me powertabs. Im putting the finishing touches on 2 tracks for them and one for my project the inertia which so far is me, zach Gibson, Kyle on the other guitar (he`s 16) and is a monster.

Dude, that sounds awesome. Zach is a fuckin' beast on drums. Are you going to be playing bass for Incinerate, or guitar?
