yes thats right, Pungent Stench will cancel the US-tour, why, read a first statement of Alex (Rector Stench):

DUE TO A FUCK UP AGENT WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE REST OF THE US TOUR. THERE WILL
BE A SHOW IN NYC AT CBGBs ON 26Tth OF MAY AND THE MARYLAND DEATHFEST ON THE
28th OF MAY. WE ARE SORRY ABOUT THAT BUT UNDER THESE EXTREME CHAOTIC AND
FUCKED UP CONDITIONS WE JUST CANT CONTINUE THIS SO CALLED TOUR. WE WILL BE
BACK COMPANEROS!

On behalf of Pungent Stench I can assure that the guys goal was to tour the USA and thank their loyal fans for the support. But certain conditions are necessary to make a tour work. If these conditions are not guaranteed it is absolutely impossible to do a tour like that. There will be more infos posted as soon as the band is back, you have a right to get informed why the guys needed to make this decision!

When we played there, the sound guy was stoned out of hes face, so Tim who was managing this tour, kicked him away from the desk, did the sound himself, went downstairs to grab the venues proper soundguy, and by the time that happened Mr. Wank's bassdrum skin had riped in two, and (as was the case for us too) half the stage lost power.
So i think you might not have seen em on their best night!

well it was more a collective opinion I was recalling, rather than just my own personal opinion to be honest...

I only managed to see about three songs before I had to leave to get the train, something I wasn't exactly disappointed about.

Not sure if it's the same sound guy (as i have a vague recollection of someone else doing that gig)... dark wavey hair, goatee and possibly glasses?

Pungent Stench are an absolutely fucking brilliant band and are fuckin class bastards. Real shame Mr. Carp's left, but i recomend you catch them when they play these the uk next time.

well if i'm honest, i personally don't like them musically - I'm not going to even bother making any personal insinuations about them as I don't know them plus i know enough of you probably know them well - so I doubt i'd be heading to another show of theirs any time soon unless there was a support band I was interested in.
