that was class that... i had the TV on in the backgruond so i didn't miss it...

they went down really well actually.

Not remotely as heavy as i usually like it but they're the closest thing to metal that that cheesefest has ever had on it and then some, so i see it as a victory for heavy metal fans everywhere.


I know that makes me sound like fucking Manowar like but still.


The Lithuania one was cool in a funny way :D "we are the winners" (only seemingly pronouncing 'winners' as 'wieners' ;)) complete with some mad bald guy that looked like Harry Hill's older brother :D

My housemate told me some band that looked like Slipknot and sang religious rock music won. i guess she was right.

well apparently there was some guy on the breakfast news the other day demanding they be banned from competing and how they should not win it if they were allowed to play because they're *cue Presbyterian Irish voice* eeeeeevil and blasphemic... etc.

Here's hoping Norway copy Finland and put Dark Funeral in to bat for them... that'll REALLY scare the Estonians :D

I don`t really think they can be compared to Slipknot - neither musically nor by their Looks

When you're a single mum from Wimbledon who's favourite singers are Rod Stewart and Roy Orbison, they probably look just like Slipknot.

Finland are actually going to name a square in Helsinki after this lot now apparantly.
Gotta love the way a whim takes over when it's so cold you have to do something in order to keep warm.

heh, the lord of all things knowledgeable and well-founded - a.k.a. The Sun newspaper - yesterday labelled them "gruesome", "horrifying", "Satanic" and "thrash metal"....

can't wait till Dark Funeral represent Norway at next years contest in Aruupapliupahenalinenanaan.
