it would be amazing if they did at least turn it a touch heavier towards necrophagist or death metal at all.. but, there's only one necrophagist whatever happens.

I doubt it. Heafy is no where near as good a musician as Muhammed.

I'm sure if Heafy wanted to, he could spend a few months in his room practicing a few harmonic minor/diminished sweep shapes.

People need to stop sucking Muhammed's dick because of his soloing. I'm not pointing any fingers at all, but his soloing (although quite fluid) is bland and uninspired. His riffing is an entirely different story though, that's where Muhammed wins me over. Ammmazing.

Admittedly the sheer superfluousness of his soloing can be numbing to even an avid fan, but, meh, the solos in Advanced Corpse Tumor and Fermented Offal Discharge are quite easily the most stirring i've ever heard in metal... and that without any supporting melodic or textual context from the songs themselves.

Its just another rumor spread by Triviums mind washed fans. I ccan't believe Trivium would ever be close to being as good as Necrophagist.

hmmm, Dean Pogue, the Roadrunner rep told me the album was very "Kill em All"...old school thrash.

1. Malmsteen isn't Death Metal
2. Malmsteen could never sing Death Metal and play necrophagist at the same time

Fixed.

I heard the new Trivium has like 60 solos, which is gay as hell and obviously a cheap attempt to show their "skill" while avoiding writing actually decent material. I mean OMG SOLOZ R DA ONNLY RESON I LISTEN 2 METAL LOLZ!
