It's good that they are doing something for this planet and the creatures on it.

cheers to them.

GO VEGAN!

But seriously, does it matter what we think? Who cares what our opinions are about their beliefs. They aren't Vegetarian for us.

Im just wondering what some of the fans think. because i totally support that and rarely see any death metal or metal kids in general that are vegetarian.

most likely if cattle didnt exist as a band, a lot of metal kids would probably feel a little weird that there a group of musicians that are vege.

As I'm concerned, if you feel good (phisical and mental) with what you're eating, it's okey to YOU. Got veggie and meat-eater friends, respect their believes and they respect me. That's how the world should be. There's space for everybody.

The only problem I have is with those fucking bullfighters (here in Peru are a lot fo these faggets) and anyone who tortures or sacrifice animal for pleasure.

glad to see some open-minded metal kids for once. yeah torturing is very harsh.

dude...i was thinking about it
and no offense to veggies but if you dont eat animals..then they just sit there in the store and go to waste...so isnt it better that you ensure they dont die in vain?

also.
to vegan justice.
i hunt and im not really a coward.
its a way to enjoy nature AND get food.
ive eaten everything ive ever killed.
deer hunting is one of the most natural things you can do.
our ancestors used to do it all the time
but with mastadons and stuff.

some people just dont eat meat simply for their personal reasons which can vary due to religion, dieting or simply believing that eatting an animal is wrong. i respect those people but i cant live without meat but vege food is good too.

It has always made me hungry. I could never go veggie. There are just so many meat dishes I love. I would only consider going veggie if I got serious bad-ass food poisoning from any meat I have cooked- which is unlikely considering I use quality meat.

But with veggies and vegetarianism, I think that your beliefs are good as long as you do not force them on me. The only question I have to ask is do any of you like TVP? In my opinion it is the worst vegetarian food out there. It just makes me gag due to the horrid flavour. Quorn is okay, but TVP is just shit.

TVP is Textured Vegetable Protein. It is an interesting meat alternative that does not have as much protein as quorn and tastes horrible.

I do not think so. It is used as an alternative to mince. Believe me, it is fucking horrid. If I ever become veggie, I will probably only eat quorn. Tofu is just rubbery shit and TVP is wrong beyond words.

Here's a little twist for the curious, Yes, Vegitarians taste better then meat-eaters, BUT.. meat-eaters are FAR easier to prepare. And aside from the calves and forearms, the spinal cord is the tastiest part. Particularily in Vegan women.

So if you ever come across the recently deceased. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN ALIBI OF YOUR WHEREABOUTS.... remove all fecal matter, bleed from the throat and ankles (unless the blood has already coagulated), take a bloodsample (to have tested for various forms pre and post-mortem disease), and enjoy.

there's a few old school grindcore bands like napalm and shit who are veg. it comes from the old hardcore(not this post hardcore/metalcore BULLSHIT) school of morals. If you 've ever read choosing death they mention it.
but yeah, I'm a veg and have been longer than I've been listening to metal. It's got nothing to do with music, it's your fucking life. regardless if CD were veggies or not they'd still be one of my favorite bands.

You're also forgetting bands such as Earth Crisis and Remembering Never. CD have said in interviews that a lot of hardcore kids that are straightedge like CD, because of their political leanings.

TVP, Quorn? Dude just eat Boca burgers and stuff of that nature. Take vitamins as well, that'll help substitute for the minerals that you get from eating meat. If you like beans such as pinto beans or Black-eyed peas instead of not cooking them without a hamhock just use pork flavoring. there aint no meat in that is there?
