Since i know how much Gorerotted LOVE Nile, i thought i'd post a recount on their show last night, which i attended with Bovis Homes who looked abit like this after 15 minutes :1puke:
Nile are the shit!
There.
Also, i have decided to quit drumming after seeing George play not a note wrong, and add to it some neat little clave grooves during blasting and shit like that.

Aye dude, that was our bassist Herbert I guess. Big nose, curly crap hair and his enormous wooden shoes hehe. Aren't you that guy with short dark hair, who became very close with our good old Herbert? Than I have a picture of yeah, naked! :1pirate:
The burgers and the beers were, just like the whole festival, crustcore-approved.

Eitan is another Hebrew name, by the way, meaning mighty, or powerfull / strong. So i dont care! Whereas Mik spelled backwards is Kim, which as we all know is a chicks name, which is fitting seeing as you are gay for (Wilsons) cock! All you base are belong to mine!

haha, ooohwee Surty boy, calm down dear!
You really hate us dont you?
"Scene", no, just what bands have to do when on tour, and the general amount of people that show up "Scene", and we've done more than just that Vom' tour poo pops.
By the way, the manc show with Vom' - did you see me say that the promoter there was shite? Perhaps i was talking about other occasions? Dont get all offensive for your mate and get all steamed up dude, it's pointless.
I'll put it this way:
In the last year and a half since i've come to England, I have found certain countries to be more favourable for a hard working DIY touring band than others. As it happens, an amount of international types that i've met seem to agree.
There, is that bland enough for ya? I'm not trying to be controversial when i say i dont like something, so dont be an asshole, specially not behind a keyboard.
lol nah, i don't hate you at all man... i came across as a tadge more argumentative than I intended.
i guess i was just a bit bitter cause i'm already fed up of so many fucking bands i want to see live only ever playing London and Dublin most of the time, and calling that "UK Leg"/ "UK Tour".
I guess i was just being myopic in combining the amount of cool bands I've seen in places like Manchester and Stoke with the thought that if i didn't defend "the scene" here, (the rather ridiculous notion that) less good bands would play here.
If I could move somewhere (whether that's nationally or international) with the archetypal "best scene ever" then I would. Till then I have to try and go to as many gigs as I can, which inevitably means 99.9% of the time gigs in England.
By the way, the manc show with Vom' - did you see me say that the promoter there was shite? Perhaps i was talking about other occasions? Dont get all offensive for your mate and get all steamed up dude, it's pointless.
As far as I know that Vomitory gig wasn't a Clangestrim-sorted/helped thing - if I'm right i've got a feeling it was a Fluffy run thing what with the Kolobos name on the fliers - so i have to hold my hands up and say that aside from the Clangestrim geks/ Grindethic boys sorting shit out in Manchester, the rest of the promotors seem pretty gay unless the band is very well-known [for a DM band] like Nile or Cryptopsy.
I'll try to keep my inherent arsehole-ness in check in future ;)
If i come across as an asshole, behind a keyboard or not, well, I'm showing true to form as always :D

Ok, glad you got my drift fella.
I actually, and this is'nt an example of my arguement above just something that strengthens it, talked to the guy from Deeds of Flesh when i was helping Tim out at the Monstrosity/ DOF/ Vile /Impaled gig in London, and he was saying that it was a bit weak and kinda dissapointing. You cant ask for a stronger line up for that style of music, and London with 8 million inhabitants (let alone the surrounding areas) came up with about 200 people. Now that, no matter how you look at it, is bollox. And it was an Arcane jobby, so it was very well planned. It's just seems like people in England dont realy care. We toured with Macabre and some nights we were playing to less than 50 people (i think that was Birmingham)! Madness. In Holland we played with Severe Torture and there was something like 200 - 300 people there. That was just so fuckin invigorating in comparison, healthy fuckin scene in the Netherlands. Must be all the pot!

When I saw you play with MACABRE in Glasgow there was hardly anyone there and that sucks. Plenty room for cripple bastards lie me though! It was a good night although MACABRE's drums were a bit fucked. I spoke to people - and still do hear- people amazed at how Me and my mates will travel 3-4 hours both ways- to a gig in Glasgow. Same old story of fans in big cities becoming complacent and taking it for granted that bands will always go there regardless of previous turn outs. Especially in London (no offence like). So all you cunts should come and play my town!

Glasgow was probably my favourite place to play in the UK ever.
Manchester and London are always cool too.

I know what you mean... I've seen a number of bands play to just stoic "fans", even 'big' bands like Nile can't seem to get crowds moving much in Manchester...
usually the brutal death gigs (ie Fleshless, last years Gutting Europe with Mortal Decay, the Deranged gig) seem to get something of a better reaction.
The Prostitute Disfigurement set last year tho on the Deicide tour irritated the fuck out of me because 'Left In Grisly Fashion' is one of those album that it's practically criminal not to enjoy yourself along to (read: actually move to), yet there wasn't ANYONE moving at all during the set - just above all the movement there was was the clapping in between songs.
Although to be fair they did get a far better reaction from the crowd the next time they played in April with Cannibal Corpse.
I am quite blinkered in my viewpoint of different experiences as - aside from festivals - pretty much all the gigs i've been to have been in England, with only a really small percentage being anywhere else, and the majority of gigs in this country bein in Manchester...
so yeah..i need to move myself somewhere more metal.
Really irritates me when there's some really good bands playing and either the crowd doesn't bother trying to interact or the turnout is just dire..
