Anyone know what happened to Alex Marquez? Sorry I live in a cave.

That's a fucking good question bro! The last thing I know he was playing in, was a cd for Divine Empire, since then I haven't heard something about it.
About Ressurrection: they could have been a really BIG band but they quiet too early imo..... :emot-fail

South Florida death thrashers SOLSTICE have reunited and are working on new material. The lineup is the same one from the second album, "Pray" (1995), which is as follows:

Alex Marquez (ex-MALEVOLENT CREATION, DEMOLITION HAMMER, DISINCARNATE) - Drums
Dennis Munoz - guitar
Garret Scott - bass
Christian Rudes - guitar, vocals

According to the band, SOLSTICE's current musical style is "more like the [self-titled debut from 1992] as opposed to 'Pray'. We originally wanted Rob Barrett [guitar] to do it but we know he is extremely busy with CANNIBAL CORPSE, so we didn't even ask. After a couple of months of digging around, we were able to find Rudes and he was into it so we went that way. He's an amazing player and his voice is super brutal now. We heard some songs he wrote, and wow, it was killer!"

I think Atheist started an avalanche... For me, the following band's reunion is still required:
1. Disincarnate (James Murphy's band, awsome deathmetal with his beautiful solos)
2. Pestilence (with Martin Van Durnen's voice, he's amazing!)
3. Noctornus (again...)
4. Gorguts
5. Brutality (they tried it once, but something went wrong)
6. Morgoth
7. Asphyx (that would be thier 4th attempt:D)
8. The Beatles, Death, Pantera etc. but We must resurrect some guys to do that.

And they should do a festival with Cynic and Atheist. Hurray!

Apparently James has been working on the followup to 1993's "Dreams Of The Carrion Kind" But he's also been producing a heap of other people's projects, as well as the Death tribute...

That sounds great, but damnit james should work on one project at one time... he's doing million things at the same time... But hopefully one day he'll finish them.
