We'll look into seeing if we can get this release in stock - it all depends on what label they are with. Some bigger name labels want to charge us the same amount to purchase CDs from them at a wholesale rate as we intend to sell them for on our site! That's one reason why we don't stock Relapse Records releases anymore.

Looks like Martyr is with Galy Records. We should be able to get some of these in stock. Give us a couple weeks and we should have them.

Yeah I'm not sure what label put out that Sinister DVD either. Once I find out, I'll try to get some in stock. Glad that huge order arrived safely. And yes, all of our CDs always ship fully assembled and shrink wrapped. Who wants to buy a CD that's been loosely lying around for ages. Any imports that come in are jewel cased and shrink wrapped immediately to keep them new.

We are still trying to work with ULR to get more Inveracity CDs. Sorry, it's a slow process beyond our control. I'll be sure to post an update here when we get more in stock.

I've had orders come in from Amputated Vein in Japan in a third of the time it took either of my UL orders to come in.

the timescales i've experienced on average from overseas labels/distros are
Unmatched Brutality (some random US state)- usually about 4 days (sent 'global express' which is probably why)
Brutal Bands (whereever Minnesota is hah)- usually no more than a week whatever size my order (i've ordered 4 cds in my first order and about 40 in my second)
Goregiastic (East Coast US)- about a week to week an a half
Every Day Hate (Poland) - roughly a week
Amputated Vein (Japan)- about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks in a very nice cool paper bundle hah
Unique Leader (West Coast US)- two months, both times i ordered from them.

I can't remember what other labels i've ordered from, but you can tell from that alone just how bad UL's rep is compared to others.

Yea, if you Google it the only results you get are stores selling/reviewing Clitorture - S/T, so maybe they self-released it with the intention of starting a new label.

Metal Archives (http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=21995) says their on Pathos Productions (http://www.pathosproductions.com/default.aspx) right now though, but all they've released on that is the split with with Goreality.

As for SOP logo shirts, I can only guess they are only available from the band, Neurotic Records and maybe even Unique Leader Records, all of which are most likely impossible to get these from - sorry, but it's out of our control. We're only able to get stuff if the suppliers make it readily available. I'm not sure what sort of reputation SOP has regarding merch, but research it, and if you find they have a good reputation, I'd try getting a shirt directly from them.

Hey, I'm sorry to say, we had to contact Neurotic Records and cancel our order with them. It had been two months with the order not arriving and no contact from them. We couldn't afford to sit on that sort of money any longer and decided to cancel the order so that this money can be used elsewhere in a more timely fashion to provide other products to our customers. As for the future of carrying Neurotic releases, I do not know. Perhaps we'll be able to get them from Willowtip, but they are usually hard to get a hold of as well. Perhaps there is some sort of deal where only Willowtip is now allowed to carry these releases in the US. But I have no idea as none of my emails get answered. Perhaps I will try to contact Willowtip and see if they know anything.

As for the Lightning release, I'd say it's old school death metal, but check it out for yourself with the mp3 sample.

It was shipped out right away on Saturday and that's the only reason it made here already on Friday, not Monday next week. The prices are cheap if you ask me and even though there's no stuff like "Buy 3 get 1 for free" and postages are added to orders, goddamn I'm not complaining. There's no extra added to the postages other than the envelope I'm thinking, they're exactly what it costs to send the order and the fact they ship out right away in first class... This is easily the best service I've ever gotten from any distro and definitely not the last time I spent my money on Brutal Bands!

BB only has an online store, and once and a while a merch table at fests that we sponsor. For the most part in MN, it is not worth it to set up an actual metalshop. There have been a couple here that have come and gone, but there's just not enough local customers that shop at them to allow them to stay in business. Not to mention having the competition from online stores that can sell CDs at $10 each puts these metalshops that sell CDs for $14 each out of business. It's a shame, but that's just how it is.

ok, they have handled a ton of the old roadrunner back catalogue. they just did gorguts' first two albums, the old toxik albums, stuff like that. and its all pretty cool collector's digipack stuff. i dont know how well old school death metal would sell to the shoppers at brutal bands, it seems like theres more a brutal new school demographic going on, but plenty of people respect the old school stuff. throw on some cool bonus tracks and maybe theyd pick up reissues

Metal Mind only handle re-issues of Roadrunner titles as they're the official licencees for Poland, Balkans and former CIS countries which is why they're given special dispensation to reprint the albums...

not sayin this would stop them selling them to people outside of Poland like, but they might have some clause written in where they're not allowed to sell them to distros or retailers...

yeah man, there's a few Eastern European labels that have had licencing deals with "Western" (for want of a better term) labels to handle shit in that area.

It started out as a way around the politics originally, but it's more of a convenience thing now from what I understand.

As far as I know though, Metal Mind are the only ones that have got such well-known deals - ie with Roadrunner.

I don't know if they're definately not allowed to sell to distros, but I'd imagine that it'd somehow contravene their original agreement with Roadrunner, unless there's like some clause where Metal Mind have already forked out a large sum to do it or have to give them like a percentage of all reissue sales...

We'll try to get more of the Cinerary CDs in stock. As for the Liturgy, it is unfortunately unlikely, as Unmatched Brutality hasn't responded to our requests for more of their releases in over half a year. Not sure why.

Yeah, it definetly was, so I know its definetly no fault of yours. This isn't unusual though, even when i've ordered things from you in the past (when I lived in British Columbia) it still took 7-8 business days at LEAST.
