here's my new solo project. it's technical, maybe not as much as BTA, but i like it and so do my friends:

and here's a MIDI version of the song (it's complete; 2 guitars and drums)

Some parts do sound really cool, but some other places it's a wee bit annoying. Like for example (I may be hearing this wrong) but some places where the guitar is doing something, and the other is playing the same thing, but like a half step away, so it has that...sound. It may be something you have to get used to. The drums seem a little standard.

Can you play this yet? And did you use some kind of theory to write this, or did just whatever come out?

do you play a Warr?

yeah, i guess dissonance is an aquired taste, but i like it :]
i can't play it yet, or maybe i can, i'm not sure, i haven't tried yet. the drums are standard... usually the stuff i write is pretty simple in the sense of drums because, well, i play guitar, not drums, hah. i stuck to a scale when i wrote this, in particular: Byzantine in C#.
no, i do not play a warr, though it would be cool to learn

Oh, I was asking about the Warr because the guitar on the myspace different than usual for some reason.

what youre playing is good. it pretty much sounds like youre trying to mimic that arctopus kind of sound. ease off on the mids a little (or maybe alot). idk, Im not trying to be insulting or anything- cause it sounds like youre pretty good at what youre doing.

and whats with that paincave cover? geez man, the parts youre doing sounds pretty much note for note. but, the song was released like 3 monts ago! no question that you got some skills.
and I agree with everyone who thinks your tone sounds weird... it sounds very weird.
(maybe its just all those damn mids, haha)

what kind of guitar/setup you using?
