Danish death metallers EXMORTEM have parted ways with Osmose Productions, according to a posting on the band's web site. EXMORTEM signed with Osmose in March 2002 following a split with Holland's Hammerheart Records. A new record deal is still being negotiated.

As previously reported, EXMORTEM have finished mixing their fifth album with producer Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark. A total of nine songs were recorded and mixed during the four-week session, including "Parasite Paradise", "Symbols Of Inhumanity", "Flesh Havoc", "The Human Rape Symphony" and "Fix Of Negativity". In addition, EXMORTEM filmed their April 30 appearance at the Fee Metal Festival in Aarhus, Denmark for an upcoming DVD, tentatively due before the end of the year. The as-yet-untitled disc will include behind-the-scenes footage and other "interesting" features.

Fuck. Its a no brainer. Those guys are nothing but trouble. I can't believe all the people I talk to that say they get fucked by "The Big H". In his defense, there are some bands quite happy with Osmose, but I hear more of the negative, and I haven't had much luck with them myself. They're a good outfit if you play your cards right and have things REALLY in order. To any aspiring bands that wish to contact them, be careful, and have your lawyers present!!!

The reason for the split was money issues pure and simple (they have some financial problems..). Anyway, we had a good relation with Osmose and Herve is pretty cool. Osmose has done some great things and I wish they will somehow come back stronger again.??!! It's hard times for labels if they don't manage to follow the changes and only the forward thinking labels are doing good right now.
Anyway, apart from a slight delay in the release of the new album, things will only get a lot better for Exmortem now, you will all soon know why!
