Dude I've tried to get another one together but I haven't been able to a strong enough tour package together to make this happen. So I don't think this is going to happen this year. I sure would like something to happen in 2007 though - I guess we'll see.

Too bad. Just out of curiousity, by "tour package" do you mean Bands or finances?

Yeah bands - just getting together bands that can to it - I was like one band short of coming up with something. But now it's getting too close to summer to try to put together a tour for this summer. So hopefully next year.

The main problem is always finding a decent headliner :emot-hug:

From what I've been told, Stabwound are no more. At least, they're done with Uffe on vocals. It sucks too because he was the better vocalist IMO. I'd love to see Emeth though. They fucking crush.

Yes, Stabwound threw in the towel a while ago. All the them started up a hardcore band, with the exception of Uffe. By the way Uffe was their only vocalist. Henke was just a session vocalist for the tour, as Uffe couldn't make it to the US.

Oh really, yeah..I knew about the hardcore band..but then I remember Uffe posting a myspace bulletin stating that Stabwound were back and that they were trying to record new material and shit. Guess it was a bluff. :emot-fail

Yeah, you are correct. Uffe was sort of trying to rebuild Stabwound with original and founding member Ante (guitarist that wrote most of the Blooksoaked Serenades MCD). But Ante quit the band the first time due to a lack of interest, and it looks like that lack of interest was still there, as Ante basically dropped the ball again on this rebirth of Stabwound - at least that's how Uffe pretty much put it and how I heard it.
Personally I would have liked to have seen his happen just to see what they could have come up with, but...

Yeah, it's too bad. The Bloodsoaked Serenades EP is my favorite Stabwound release, although, the full length does kick ass as well. It would've been nice to hear some cool grooves from them. Oh well.

Now that Devourment is with BB, I see a good headliner right there.

I have heard that Devourment will be in Europe in 2007 with Godless Truth and Vomit Remnants. I don't know any details at this time though...
I don't think SOF is active any more. That last release they put out for the most part was just a comp of old demos. Last I heard Henke wasn't really into death metal anymore.

I knew that devo will come to europe in '07. the VR and GT tour is new to me. but it could definetly be true. I'll see Godles Truth next week, maybe I can get some infos from zdenek.
hm this sucks. but I'm pretty sure they were active not too long ago.
Mr Majewski mentioned in passing on the Decrepit Birth forum how Devourment are coming to Europe next year with Godless Truth and Vomit Remnants, which my educated guess means that it'll be a Lacerated Enemy-organised package...

who else would bring another godless truth/vomit remnants tour to euro?!
I guess a show with these bands would be too much for my weak heart.
