We are proud to finally announce officially that we now have a new full time drummer once again. His name is Tony Garfield. Some of you may know him from the drumming he did in local Minnesota bands Severed and Anal Blast. We had a handful of drummers try out, but Tony was the only one that was able to stand up to the challenge and play our material. So far we've played one fest with him and we're continueing to work with him on the Anatomize material, which he has nearly half the songs down on so far.

Here's pic of him behind the kit at his first fest with us in Chicago

Congrats guys!! Will he be recording the new one or are you still going with Jordan? Either way I'm quite curious for the new stuff...

What's up Tom! Yeah, he will be recording with us. We'd rather have our actual drummer on the CD, than a session drummer. The idea of having Jordan on it at one time was just because we didn't know how long it was going to take to find a drummer.

Yeah of course, I thought that maybe you guys had already recorded a few songs or so with Jordan... Like I said, either way I'm quite curious. :emot-hand

No we never got to the point of working with Jordan as I came across Tony at bar on New Year's Eve - hadn't seen him in a couple years. He said he was interested, so we've been working with him on a few songs off "Dissecting..." but then the rest all newer stuff. Right now we're just tring to get enough songs to play upcoming shows, while at the same time he's learning the songs for the CD. We just did a small fest in Chicago with only 6 songs. We have another one in Kentucky (yeah that's right, some hillbilly titties in my face!) toward the end of May - hopefully he'll have a couple more new ones down to make that set 8 songs. And we've got a few more shows and fests this summer.

Jordan is an killer drummer for sure. One thing I noticed though is that he has a way of making every band he's plays in sort of sound like Lust Of Decay, just because his drumming is so in your face and full of action. I recently heard the new Lividity that he's on, and I really think is sounds a lot like LOD just because of his drumming. So, that's something that we wouldn't want to happen with us.
