[Ursus Arctos]

So I know one of you guys uses a Crate Stealth but what else is there. Also, do you have any clips of the Crate in action as I may bid on one depending on how high the bid goes.

we use a line 6 vetta II to record, and we both use crate stealths live (although darian's needs re-tubing so he has been using the vetta as of late). we also both use the ISP decimator noise gate. i play a charvel model 6 with an EMG 81 in the bridge and SA in the neck, and darian plays an ibanez S470 with stock pickups.

the stealth is a great budget tube amp.. has amazing distortion tone and pretty nice cleans as well. it's not the loudest amp i've ever heard but at 50 [tube] watts it should be loud enough for most purposes (especially if it's mic'd).

Sweet, yeah all the Charvels that I've played have been insaneee. I currently have a Flextone III XL which is ok for practice and recording but I think I'm going to try to snag the Stealth on Ebay for live purposes. Thanks for the info.

hey sideslash quick question, what's the gowing rate of the stealth on ebay because I'm thinking about bidding on that head but I don't wanna bid that much if I can wait a little and get it for cheaper. It's at $221 but I have a feeling it's going to go to nearly $300 by the end.

i have gotten two of them on ebay for $200 each, it really just depends. i think there are a few people on the boards looking at the one on eBay right now so it might be in relatively high demand at this moment. but they show up pretty consistently on there so i would just keep your eyes peeled if this auction goes higher than you can afford.
