Ok i have listen to both of the HORSE the band albums but i can not decied which is better is R. Borlax better than The Mechanical Hand or is The Mechanical Hand better than R. Borlax. So tell me what you think cause i can't make up my mind. Cause R. Borlax has the songs Bunnies and Cutsman which are awsome songs but The Mechanical Hand has Lord Gold Throneroom and Birdo which are also great songs so i am stuck. ok tell me what you all think. peace out

It's tough to differentiate between the two cd's. I like to think of both of them as one huge pile of shit.

mechanical hand.
the melodic bits like of those in manateen make it better, and i think the songwriting and structure is way better. I do like borlax though, dont get me wrong.

Mechanical hand is better. R. Borlax is great, but it just doesnt hang together as well musically and is harder to get in to. plus mechanical hand has TAKEN BY VULTURES. it also ends with those two old guys from the muppets, which is badass.
