Tasty! :beerchug:
that 15th June gig in Dublin is apparently merging with the Suffocation tour kind of - with a lineup supposedly of Suffocation, Obituary, Necrophagist, Alarum and Nailed.
As for the Obituary tour.... there's a fucking surprise, no North West gig again.
wankers.

Wot, u reckon thats down to us, the promoters or Obituary is it? There's no date set between the London and Glasgow one so Bradford or Manc would seem like a plan cos it cuts journeys up and means we dont have a pointless day off, but there's obviously a reason why it aint there son. Or maybe their sortin it out now... I dunno!
nah man, i'm not blamin you guys or Obituary at all... more the promotors than anything.
The Clangestrim guys usually do a damn sterlin job of getting plenty of fucking cool bands in to play Manchester (Fleshless, Deranged, fuck knows who else), so I guess i get a bit complacent when a band I know I'll probably not get broed watching decides/ has to go to fucking Yorkshire instead of anywhere remotely near me.
I'm fed up of havin to travel to see the fuckin good bands and bands/tour organisers that seem to think that a "UK Tour" consists of 95% of the time just a London gig or a fair percent of the rest of the time London + Birmingham + Brighton.
I mean, for example, I'd love to see Krisiun live, but the cunts never play any further north than London. They didn't even play Brum when they came over not long ago to support 'AssassiNation', so you can't really blame it on one small group of nobheads that screwed them over a few years back on the Behemoth/Krisiun/Incantation thing that happened.

bands have a fee they needs each night and if the promoters cant pay it cos of low turnouts or just cos theres no one in the area to put the show on they wont play there. i guess manc and yorks is close enough together for them to pack out one instead of half filling both.
yeah but i've seen about 3 tours of late not even bothering with the north of England at all...
i don't like going to Bradford for gigs cause it's so far away but at least it's in the same country...
I just find it odd how you'll get one group of big bands playing Manchester and/or Yorkshire, yet another group of bands just playing London, Dublin, Belfast etc...
ah fuck it. can't be arsed complaining anymore. I'm just sick of having to constantly travel all round the uk for the sake of bands that turn out to be just distinctly average.

At least you make the effort tho son! So many people moan that their small town doesnt get shows and wont leave when they're on nearby.
Most gigs I go to I enjoy the socialising more than the music, maybe cos I seen so many bands over the years

man, if i sat and waited for a band to play Chester, i'd be waiting a long fucking time...
the closest is usually Liverpool which is about 15 mile away.
So that technically makes you a Scouser!?
Safe!
well not really... not to anyone from Liverpool I wouldn't be as I'm from the wrong side of the Mersey.
If you think of Hollyoaks - minus 90% of the fit birds and all the smug male twats - that's pretty much Chester (+ the obligatory snobby middle-class nobs and a small breed of emo kids that are starting to breed like rats), but for the fact it's filmed outside of Liverpool.

Yeah, I think the Gojira are lending their spacewaves to this one. Can't wait for this although I hear my place is gonna get some heavy trashing from the 'rotted after the show. Why did I agree to that again? And nae cunt better try and finger my japs eye, that's crazy talk!!!!
