about btbam not being on victory records. this hasn't been announced, its just a thought that some board members think might be happening. stop saying that its going to happen. don't know why this is irritating me.

its a speculation by some board member s on this board on why they are pushing the release of this cover album.
and a lot of no0bzorz took it seriously. i don't know, im just bitching.

it'd totally suck if they sigend to roadrunner and started having a label suggesting what to write.that would be uber lame.

They should transfer to neurotic!
i think it just has to do with ozzfest....i'm sure they had a few options and decided to go with a cover cd....
just take note of all the victory bands on ozzfest last yeah and the releases from those bands last summer.
also it cost like $75,000 to get onto the tour...pretty much with that tour you put your money in then try to make it all back
bobbydanger
04-03-2006, 12:09 AM
i wouldn't pay that kind of money to play ozzfest, doesn't matter what band i would be in.
M. Diddy Oien
04-03-2006, 12:40 AM
don't you think victory puts in the money to play ozzfest, and btbam makes more than that, then gives victory the profit, then victory gives them a check for way less than what they made? i'd think that that is what would happen.

a.k.a. i wouldn't do that.

hahaha. yeah. trustkill - ptw = shit.
you got to remember that btbam really isn't THAT big.
for example they got $400 a night for the bleeding through tour...etid got around $1000-$1500 (can't remember which it was) and bleeding through got $3000...haste the day was only at $250 though.
and yes, victory fronts the band the money and then the band tries to make it back...having a new product helps make money.

you're kidding yourself if you think neurotic would sign btbam. they're making a name for their label by working with original, innovative death metal bands. btbam couldn't be any farther from that description if they tried.

opeth = original.
I've always thought btbam were original, from the self-titled release all the way to alaska. Some of the shit they do sends shivers down my spine and still does.... and no other band can do that to me. In my eyes, that is what creates originality.

opeth sounds nothing like btbam... they're both original, but compare blackwater park to the silent circus, or alaska to ghost reveries. they don't sound all that alike.

anyone know why the hell victory doesnt release their bands onto itunes? do bands actually make money off that shit?

it's kind of annoying to see people saying "btbam sucks and is unoriginal" then saying "cloacal kiss is definitely better in all aspects fuck yea dude i'm sorry but that's the sad truth"
even more annoying are the people that reply to these comments(i like cloacal kiss as well)
just thought i'd post this to ask both camps to stfu
