what is your all time favorite scene in a movie, or sequence of events.

mine would be the ending of casino where they show the downfall of everyone

or the part in american history x right after he stomps the dudes head on the curb. where hes looking back at his brother about to get handcuffed

Thats my favorite movie.

All time favorite= The part in Dumb and Dumber when Lloyd walks out of the gas station at night, and walks up to those two random guys and says 'Big gulps huh guys? Well, see ya later!'.

JOHN
Listen to me, very carefully, okay? You're not
a terminator any more. Alright? You got that?
You can't just go around killing people!

TERMINATOR
Why?

JOHN
Whattaya mean, why? 'Cause you can't!

TERMINATOR
Why?

JOHN
You just can't, okay? Trust me on this.

Terminator doesn't get it. John just stares at him. Frightened at
what just almost happened. He gets a glimpse of the responsibility
that comes with power. Finally he hands the .45 back to Terminator,
who puts it away.

I always hated that scene because i just can't see someone willingly biting the curb. Maybe if they were beat to shit and couldn't help themselves. If given the option of biting the curb or being shot in the head i'd definately be shot in the head.

i agree but the scene brought theintensity to the film. i mean it would be scary as fuck to be in edward furlongs position. seeing your brother commit murder while standing in the street in white boxers and nazi tattoos with that blank grin on his face. thats what made that scene disturbing to me

the bathroom scene at the training camp in "Full Metal Jacket" when Gomer Pyle just couldn't take anymore, and vents out his fustration on the DI who tortured him, but ironically turned him into a soldier. Practically any Kubrick film will have numerous amounts of quotable dialogue and memorable scenes, as the case with most Tarentino flicks.

one of my favorite movie characters is Don in the movie Sexy Beast. just a badass guy

Don: Shut up, cunt. You louse. You got some fuckin' neck ain't you. Retired? Fuck off, you're revolting. Look at your suntan, it's leather, it's like leather man, your skin. We could make a fucking suitcase out of you. Like a crocodile, fat crocodile, fat bastard. You look like fucking Idi Amin, you know what I mean? Stay here? You should be ashamed of yourself. Ahh

Saving Private Ryan

When the battle for the bridge is just about to start, the tanks are rolling through the city when the Americans are lying prone behind the defilade...and the whole ground is shaking. Man, think of how fucking shitty of a situation that must be.

Best war movie evar.

Band Of Brothers, Carentan episode when that Blithe guy that always gets way terrified, and cries in a hole when they're fighting finally stands up and starts popping shots off, tears rolling down his face.

Has anyone ever seen the movie SE7EN, starring Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt, and Kevin Spacey?

The last scene in the movie when psycho Kevin Spacey tells detective Brad Pitt that he killed his wife and cut out her unborn child and fedexed to the very spot where they were in the desert, and then Brad Pitt does exactly what he wasn't supposed to do at the advice of Morgan Freeman and shoots Kevin right in the fucking head. Best scene in a movie ever.

And Fight Club is exquisite.

When they're all in the mini-submarine looking at the jaguar shark while "Staralfur" is playing in the background.

(discussing the details of the documentary)
Oseary Drakoulias: You must swear, legally swear that you will not kill that shark, or whatever it is, if it actually exists.
Steve Zissou: (thinks then says) I'm going to fight it, but I'll let it live. What about my dynamite?

(escaping from a pirate infested island)
