Doesn't it worry you at all? If someone said, "I'll give you the key to eternal life" but there were thousands of doors in front of you, wouldn't you hope someone would show you which door your key would open and lead you to life?
Or does it not matter to you?

I just think you're reborn as someone/thing (as in human or animal) else without any past memories of your former lives. Not really the Buddhistic reincarnation idea, because you know about your past lives in that.
"You know what the dead do with most of their time? Watch the living, especially in the shower." -Rufus from Dogma
I don't believe in that but I'm rooting for it.

I think that we simply cease to exist... don't really have anything to support it, it's just the easiest answer that I can come up with

If I spent my whole life worrying about what was going to happen when I die, I'd stop enjoying the life I actually get to live. Where's the fun in that?

You turn into Fertilizer.
I sometimes think this is the best option. I've been pretty bad in my day so if there is a hell, I'm fucked.

This is one of the three major questions which irked man's imagination enough to create religious belief systems, the other two being "How the fuck did we get here?" and "Who made all this shit?". It's all about the acceptance of your own mortality isn't it? I reckon like most of the posts, that we are just DEAD and thats it. Your personality and emotions are all chemically driven and are connected to your brains activity. Once that activity ceases, your basically fucked.
And as far as Xtian beliefs in Heaven(tm), well that's always been strange since according to that funny old book, you aint in Heaven(tm) till judgement day, and till then your dormant. Reincarnation in Buddhist ideals have never rang true for myself since it's set up as a hierarchy(ie bug then bird then lizard etc), and since it's a hierarchy there would have to be some mind behind that setup which would mean there was a god. But Buddhism doesn't believe in a god so for me that's enough of a contradiction to dismiss that (since i don't believe in a god).
Basically there is not a Religion on the earth that can't be picked apart or proven infallible. Sorry for the long post, but I felt like expressing my views on a pretty arguable subject.
