Ok.
We are Malignus, we play Tech. Death and we are based in Melbourne.
Our band consists of the following:-
1 Vocalist
2 Guitarists
1 Drummer
We need:-
1 Bassist
We take influences from:-
Death, Grind, Thrash and Brutal Death.
To be a bit more specific:-
Necrophagist, Psycroptic, Arsis, Nile, Neuraxis, Hypocrisy, Cryptopsy, Spawn of Possession, Watchmaker, Bloodbath, Visceral Bleeding, Suffocation, Deeds of Flesh, Nasum, Pig Destroyer, Kreator etc... basically anything brutal, original and crazy.
What equipment do we have?
Marshall Mode Four Half Stack + 2 guitars,
Marshall TSL head and 5150 cab + 2 guitars,
Pearl Export Drum Kit + various cymbals + dw9000 double kick pedals,
Vocalist + mic + gay jokes.
What equipment do you need?
Pretty much a bass tuned to CGCF, a amp/stack that can hold up for a live gig, a hard working + positive attitude towards band members and making music. Also transport is a must!
Where are we located?
We REHEARSE in Hoppers Crossing (Western Suburbs)
Where are our band members located?
Tarneit, Altona Meadows, Prahan, Geelong.
Where should you be located?
Anywhere, as long as your willing to travel to hoppers crossing every Saturday to jam.
What can we offer you?
A band to express your musical talents, a mainly fast and technical band that will push your boundaries and keep you on ya toes. You will have heaps of musical input, great new friends, and some people that want to get as far as possible with music.
What to expect at a first audition?
Come down, have a listen, have a chat with us, we can send you some tabs and guitar recordings prior so you can learn before you come in.
How old are we?
18-21, age is not much of an issue.
