I'd write you guys an e-mail but I couldn't find your contact info on the home page.

I'm asking this question because I'm going to eventually be in a heavily-touring band. I've always worried: is it hard to pay bills (car/insurance/credit/cell) while on a tour? Does a band make a enough money to not fall behind with bills? I'd immensely appreciate it if you could tell me anything about it.

Nah dude...its really easy. This is Blake..just so you know, but yeah..its not hard at all. I do prepaid cell service, my car is paid for, and if I run out of money, I just steal a pair of Tommy's jeans and hack them on eBay for a couple hundred bucks.

I'm not in a touring band or anything, but I do travel a whole fuckload, usually gone for 7+ months at a time. It's relatively easy to pay everything while you're away. Online banking is the key. Set up a bill payer for cellphones and credit cards, use allotments for car payments and such. A lot of people in touring bands don't even have stuff like cars, apartments, etc. They leave their stuff in storage units or with family/friends while they're away. My storage unit is $112 a month and I can fit my car and all my other worldy possesions in it with some room left over.

Additionally, I am not currently in a band (maybe I should have said that on this thread's first post) but I will be in a successful one in the future... I sold my drumset to pay the bills a while ago and, in addition, ever since I've had a few financial setbacks.
