last night i was at darkest hour / dead to fall in portland, and when a band was setting up there was this one song the soundguy was playing and i didnt get a chance to ask him what it was. the only thing i can pick out of the song was its like it was kind of metal core but more on the death metal side, pretty low growly vocals, and there was this part right before a breakdown where the guy just growls "MOVE" and then theres some monumental breakdown with sub hits in it.
I want to get that track if anyone knows what im talking about at all. it sounded like something that would be on metal blade. thanks for the help.

i don't know. i was about to go to that show too. im friends with travis from across the sun. might be playing for them soon, they said they might need another guitar player. that would be pretty sweet if i did. cause im bandless.

naw, im versed in my throwdown, dude. it was like pretty death, lots of growls and metal guitars, there might have even been some electronic elements. thats all i can remember - "MOVE" growled and then a big breakdown. it was almost like killwhitneydead?

I just read some thread about Dead to Fall and someone mentioned a similar thing. I dunno what song though.
Speaking of DTF, I'm not impressed with Phoenix Throne. The fourth song (Servant of Sorrow) beginning sounds like their trying to be Opeth haha.

there is seriously no fucking with dead to fall. and btbam. seriously. even if someone doesnt like those particular brands of music, you still cant even fuck with them. every track ive heard from the new album of dead to fall's blows me away so far and its exactly what "the scene" needs more of.
And while im at it i will tell you what the scene needs less of... bands talking about their love for god or jesus or whatever the fuck and spreading the mentality that kind of thinking is just ok and acceptable.
