somebody has to get things kicking around here!
anyway, i prefer clients... it's the more solid album...
although fused has that genuine creepiness to it. :)

Fused's song were a bit more of the TRC 'sound' I guess...But yeah, Clients is one of the most solid performances of '05, especially the drumming. I like em both equally I think.
Fused for the songs, Clients for the performance.
love both but i'll say fused

Fused without a doubt. I didn't like Clients at first but it has definately grown on me (especially after hearing the songs live).

Are you guys kidding? Fused destroys Clients in every way. Clients was decent, but Fused is genre defining.

I loved everyting about "Fused..". The vocals on it suited it perfectly. I was Succumbed to Guy's voice. It was like a trance.
And then they bought 'Clients' out, and I must say it was alot different. The 'sound and feeling' just didn't do it to me like "Fused..." did. But yes, the drumwork is amazing in it. Sucks he has left.

well, Mike Justain has stuff to do with the drumming in Clients since he was still in the band when they we writting songs for it.. he's by far the best drummer i've seen them with.
on topic, Fused! but clients is nothing but awesome too.

john longstreth shits all over mike justain. the guy was amazing, i loved his work on fused, but he's definitely not the best drummer to play with them.

Well, Kevin Talley is better than both of them. I hope he sticks around.
Not to take anything away from either guy, cuz they're both amazing in their own right.

Fused, but Clients is a great album.
All their songs live are killer.

Fused Together.. no doubt. Nothing beats the opening intro of "Oh So Sweet, yet so beautiful" to the several minutes of noise at the end of Sixteen Bit Fingerprint. It took a little while for Clients to grow on me, I'm still not sure if I enjoy ALL of the songs on it.

I definetely do not enjoy some of these much-too-metal/hardcore riffs/vocals.

Talley is better IMO.
talley is fantastic and a monster hitter but he is NOT better than longstreth. anyone who has seen longstreth live will tell you that he hits pretty fucking hard himself, and he's also significantly faster and more creative than talley.
there is no comparison between talley's drumming with dying fetus/misery index/chimaira (lol) and longstreth's with angelcorpse/origin. night and day.
longstreth on the new dim mak will blow a lot of people away too.

OK, I will admit, I only know Longstreth through TRC. I've never been an Origin fan, and I don't listen to Angelcorpse. I'm a big Index fan though, so I'm partial to Talley.

Fused... is one of the few good technical metal albums ever. It's fast, dynamic, and, not to mention, brutal... the heavyness/darkness seeps throughout.
The guys execute timing well with stops/starts and slow downs; they effectively build anticipation within seconds in fast songs that aren't even long to begin with. In addition, the little comical moments in the music with funny notes and timings are cool; it's a totally unique and enjoyable experience when music makes us laugh.
But Clients, I'm not going to talk about.

Agreed. I saw him live touring with Exhumed. At first I didn't know it was him but then I recognized his face. I sure as hell also recognized him beating the shit out of his drums. Insanely fast, tight and very hard. Not sure about Talley though... His drumming is much too stereotype for me.
I like them both but my vote is for clients

Fused is definitely the best, most interesting, and most creative metalcore album I've ever heard next to any of Between the Buried and Me's material. A gem. A dark and satisfyingly creepy gem.
Clients nearly ruined it for me, but it grew on me and I enjoy most of the songs on there. It basically sounds like what Chimaira or many other metalcore bands should. However, it's not nearly as awesome as Fused is, so Fused gets my vote.
Though hearing songs from both albums live...man, they're monsters...! The good kind of course.
