Back On Track!

After a set back and short delay, we pick up the work on the new album tonight. We hope to still make the deadline in the middle of July, so that we are still facing a September/October release date. More information on what is going, will follow later. Most important thing, is that we are back on track!

I know this is the forum to be be in awe of the band, but there's just something about 'Monument...' that I'm not as keen on it as much as I'm loving 'Affiliated...'

Ok, so maybe the track we picked at first, was the wrong one...

Anyways, we are so happy with our material that we decided to delay everything when we came to a situation in studio were we had to choose between the high standard we have set as a goal, and a more average standard for this album. We decided to go with the high standard of course...

This has caused some delays (not to mention that the studio has been occupied by gothmetallers Trail of Tears for nearly 4 months now).

BUT, 5 of 11 drum tracks have been recorded now, and by the end of next week, we hope to start working on the guitar tracks. We are unfortunally in some kind of hurry, because Tchort (me) is busy with various summer festivals in August (Party San, Summer Breeze and MetalCamp), and then he is going to record another album with Green Carnation and will be gone for a month...

But we hope to finish the guitar tracks of his before he leaves and that album will be finished by the end of August. The cover and booklet is ready and it looks great!!!!

Ok...

Drums are recorded and on monday we start recording the guitar tracks. Things have been slow due to the work on the new Green Carnation album as well as the upcoming live shows with Carpathian Forest and Green Carnation, but what we can tell you, is that this will be by far our most agressive and in your face album!!!!
