Coma, this is by far your best decision! I love you for this. :emot-chee Gorgasm is easily one of my favourite modern death metal bands, they blend so much shit. I can't wait for their next album to come out, and they should be touring soon, I hope, that's going to be fucking killer. Too bad they don't have their old line up with 2 guitarists though. What are all you guys' thoughts on Gorgasm? And what's your favourite album/song of theirs? Personally, I like all of their albums, but if I had to choose, I'd probably pick Bleeding Profusely, and Stripped to the Bone... that song has the most "punishing chunk" in it. :chainsaw:

Actually, dude, I think we were taken off that show, I'm not sure. We were supposed to play that Vader show here in Chicago then travel to Minneapolis to open the same show the next day. I guess the tour manager didn't want any openers in Chicago so we were bumped from there and I think the same shit happened in Minneapolis. I'll find out for sure by the end of the day.

We might return to the twin guitar thing in the future but the chemistry we have as a three-piece right now far exceeds what we had as a four-piece. It's also much easier to operate a band with one less mouth to feed.

Stripped to Bone is one of my personal favorites as well. I'm trying to get it back into the regular rotation.

Well actually yes, since I have a Gorgasm playlist on my mp3 player that just goes through all their songs. Stabwound Intercourse is sick too, just I don't regard it as an album, more an EP or something like that.

Bad news about that. We had to cancel the whole thing because we couldn't reach an agreement with the promoter. It was stupid of us to announce it before the contracts were signed. Major apologies go out to all our long-suffering Canadian fans. We are talking to a different promoter now and if/when a proper deal is secured, we will let everyone know. Again, sorry to let you all down, we should have handled that more carefully.

Well, we're still on UL, they are our label. Right now, UL is our home and we're happy with it. UL is a strong label and it is mutually beneficial to both parties for us to stick with them. We have been and will continue to accept offers from other labels, however. If something huge comes along, of course we'll jump on it. We will always do whatever is in the best interests of Gorgasm. Until you hear officially from one of us that we are leaving UL, don't believe the rumors.
