Atheist Merchandise?

Ok, I see a lot of bitching and complaining about the vintage black & white Piece Of Time T-shirt design. (some people saying it's lame etc. I rather like it myself) So, since Atheist are about to play a bunch of dates, they will be making new merch to sell on and after these dates, and since you don't like the vintage design, this is your chance to let the band know what are you looking for...

Anything is fine with me, I'll buy it.
But mostly I'd like a shirt with Unquestionable Presence cover in front of it.
And maybe tour dates or actually something wise in the back...
But not just the logo.

I'd like a Black shirt with one of the album covers on the front. I'd say Elements. And maybe the Atheist logo on the back. Either upper back or lower back, doesn't matter... that would be sweet

Or wait even better. Elements cover on the front, on the back the tour dates with the atheist logo at the top. :devil:

i'm not bitching and whining about it. its a lame print and obviously very cheap for relapse to do. i'd love cover prints FULL COVER with the UP and POT designs. the old one with the "WE DISAGREE" on the back of the POT shirt was awesome

I rather like the simplicity of the vintage black & white one myself... if there's some of those brought out on the forthcoming tour I'll most likely get one of those. Be nice if it had the tourdates on the back though as well.

Maybe solid black with the PoT cover art on the front and maybe a picture of the band on the back (black and white, or color, whichever- the cover should be in color though). and then 2 more for UP an Elements. Different pics on the backs of course

I like the Atheist Logo. Designed by Roger after all!!!!!

But something based on UP would be cool. OR a more 3D coloured logo top.

Long-Sleeves are MANDATORY!!!

I'd like to see one of each album with a small left breast print on the front with the band logo and the album title under it. The full color album artwork on the back. A large band logo down one sleeve and large album title down the other.

One off long sleeves for the festivals (with the dates on the back would be nice as well...

i saw a shirt on ebay of the elements cover a while back, and it looked amazing. so they should reprint that.

as much as I love longsleeves, the Atheist logo is not something that I think would fit well on the sleeves (it's rather tall, and not so long...) if you turn it sideways, it would probably cover the whole sleeve (wrap-around) perhaps a logo on the edge of the cuff (I have other longsleeves like that)

unless of course you mean about 15 logos down each sleeve...

They don't neccessarily have to have a sleeve print - just as long as they ARE long sleeves. Having a few smaller horizontal logos down one sleeve would still be a cool alternative though...

If you are going to do album cover shirts, DON'T do it like the one posted above, I hate it when the band just puts the exact album cover on the shirt. Use the album artwork with no Logo and then place a larger logo above/on top of the cover picture sort of overlapping it...it looks cheesy when you just use the exact album cover image.

No offense to the dude that made the design! It's not like he had the choice to do what I am suggesting since you couldn't find just the artwork minus logo online anywhere even if you tried, plus it was just a quick mockup anyways.

EDIT: Here's an example of what I mean, from when I was making mockups of Woods of Ypres shirts when I was still in the band...

Metallica had their Cliff shirt, there are countless Randy Rhodes shirts, I'm SICK of all the Hendrix shirts, there is a Paul Baloff shirt, I'm sure there is one for Chuck...

So how about a ROGER SHIRT?! Maybe a hand-drawn Atheist logo by the man himself at the top of it?
